You know I feel like there’s this misconception that there’s no healthy relationships out there nowadays when there are plenty. I think the problem is that healthy and happy relationships are boring and don’t grab headlines or attention. Also showcasing a healthy relationship online can lead to the dissolution of that relationship OR to people putting down the relationship for being healthy. I made a video once where I detailed a slew of problems in my life at the time and briefly mentioned how my relationship was the only good thing I had going and had several people criticize me for bragging about my relationship when I spent 99% of the video talking about my problems and 1% about my relationship lol. I guess I say all of this to say that I don’t think it’s as bad as we believe but we live in a time where bad is far more entertaining and gains far more attention than good.
