The equalizer is direct connected to the power amp ( in Dc mode ) without preamp
The best setting is when you equalize it on reverse mode, I've used this eq. for a long time in the 90's era with a Technics SU-V6 and SU-V8 before to upgrade my system . I've resumed it from my storage just to see the difference between the Nikko Eq-20(check my other video )

This is a good EQ. I use it for years on my Philips 572 pre amp and 578 power amp.

Hi... this is a nice video and the sound is really great on the headphones. Does it sound the same at your place? Can you enlighten as how do you control the volume if a cd player or a cassette deck is attached as you are driving the gear only with a power amp. can you also post an extension to this video about the rear connections from your eq to the PA or vice versa. Also what do you mean by "reverse mode" on the eq? Thank you. Your comments will be highly helpful as I haven't known about such settings with out a pre-amp.

Hi, on youtube there is a loss of quality compared to the original, but the music compression is close to the original sound. About the signal, it comes from the computer that also gives the volume, the connection starts from the audio output of the pc (speakers output) and goes directly to the Technics input; so we have: Source sound (pc)> Technics> Marantz, The technics has two modes of operation Normal or Reverse, when it is inverse do you have to move the sliders down instead of up for gain. I don't think I can extend the video unfortunately

Hola, tengo un ecualizador idéntico a este 8020 pero no sé conectarlo ni donde hacerlo en mi amplificador Kenwood kr- 6400 me podrías orientar?? Muchas gracias
