Raindrop Resin / Bubble Resin
Hi Guys x Well I'm not sure how long this has been going round so I may be late to the party lol but when I saw some pictures of these gorgeous designs I thought I have to try this. But people were all over the place on which Micas you needed to use so I thought I would do a little experiment of my own to see if you really do have t use a certain type of Mica or can you just use what you already have so if your interested watch along with me and find out xx
In the video I use
Lets Resin Epoxy Resin 1:1 Ratio
Frenshion UV Resin = Amazon
Mica's Interference Purple ( I bought through umakeitup.com but they no longer sell through there own website)
Silver Lilac ( same as above)
Magic Blue = Mineral Make-up Ingredients
Deep Green 100H = Mineral Make-up Ingredients
24k Gold = Mineral Make-up Ingredients
Lets Resin = Chameleon Powder Grape
Lets Resin = Chameleon Powder Champagne
Pop Socket Mould Set = Amazon

Really cool technique. I've only seen it done in the last few days. That was one thing I got a kick out of when I started doing resin. There are fads that make their rounds, and die off as suddenly as they appeared. I can't think of any examples at the moment, but there have been plenty. So you could, in theory, make a small molded piece with resin, stick it to the mold, then put the mica and resin over it as you did here, and have a piece that, instead of having water drops, you could have a cross or a heart, or whatever. I don't know if I explained that right, but I'm not going to read back over it. I really liked them after you domed them. Thanks for another super-outstanding video!

Hi hun xx I’m normally super late on trends or don’t bother but this one really intrigued me and I thought it was super cool looking xx I think I do get what you mean x So instead of bubbles you’d see whatever you put in the mould ? That could be a really cool idea xx That could be a lot of fun and I think I can combine your idea with something I have already to make something cool 😍💖 xx Let’s see if it works xx As always thanx for your support 💖💖xxxx

Hi Fiona, they all look beautiful, and was wondering if you did a silicone mould of the bubbles, so that you can get a raised bubble effect, then use resin with the Lets Resin chameleon powders or flakes, it would also save you time too, just an idea I got while watching you,, I made some polymer raspberries blackberries and lychees in mixed yellow green orange colors they look cool,

Hi hun xx Ooohh they sound lovely xx I have always found the colours pop more when applied directly to the surface of the mould but definitely something to try and compare thank you 😊 xxxx The black base helps reflect the pigment particles in the chameleon powders better x I tried various colour resins in a previous video it was fab to try out xx But I should definitely try out your idea too 🤗💖 xx

I loved the water design - but from what I see - they don't look as much like bubbled UP drops - but holes down in the disc. Pretty tho

Yes I can see what you mean xx I did them quite uniform for testing purposes but I agree making them more droplet like and more unique would look better xx
