Ahh, just our nerdy Deadpool & Wolverine playing baseball with lethal weapons because they don't fear death, my favourite content! A massive thank you to @FitFrHome for being here and bringing out the little kid in Dash! You guys giggling away got me smiling from ear to ear as well. 😁 I wish you the best for the future and god bless you Art and your family! Also, I'm positive if these two met as 8 year old boys their parents would nix sleepovers. Pair of troublemakers! Lastly, I wanna see how both your wives react to this video, that would be amazing!! 🤣
Man it was such amazing fun, truly it was a once in a lifetime thing to find someone who was as crazy as I am haha. We would have gotten into endless trouble for sure
Thank you! When I found out Dash was only a few hours from where we lived I knew we had to make a collab happen! Never expected us to do 4 . Was so epic!
Alonso Enríquez de Guzmán wrote that he saw an Inca slinger break an old sword that someone was holding into two pieces with a slung stone at thirty paces. That's not exactly knocking a sword out of someone's hand, but it's similar. A slinger can potentially deliver more momentum than a warbow, so the story might be true. Deflecting thrown weapons with swords was absolutely something historical soldiers practiced. For example, consider one of Fiore de'i Liberi's guards: "[3] Against the grip of hand and also the throw, With this guard, I know well how to ward. "I am a good guard, in armor or without armor, and against a spear or a sword thrown from the hand, I am confident I will not be harmed, because I know how to beat them aside and thus evade them."
Oh, shoot, if I would’ve known that, I would’ve busted the sling out. That’s the other thing I specialize in with a lot on this channel. I didn’t even think of that.
Thanks so much, man. I am so happy you enjoyed them. It was a ton of fun and I am a grateful for the pieces you sent me, especially the gauntlets as that definitely protected my hand again the axle handle haha
Once again, as stated before, you two gentlemen have absolute trust in your abilities. The possibilities of injury exist however, your honed skills mitigated any mishaps. Well done gentlemen. 👍 And the frying pan segment had me in stitches! I needed a good laugh and got one1😂😅
Thank you most kindly my friend. At the end of the day safety first for a lot of reasons but mainly because our wives would get really mad if we got hurt.😂
I recall you saying that you stepped away from shorts because long video is more fun for you. This was proof of that-it really felt like this video was so electric and just came to life. I’m glad you guys had so much fun and could collab one more time! Also, never knew that about Viggo… I love the guy even more now!
Thanks so much man! I truly appreciate that. We had an insane amount of fun and laughs and it was just the absolute best time. I will still probably do like 1 or 2 shorts a week of the highlights but man it’s so much more fun to let the video breath a bit
With bullets hitting a held object, the more likely scenario is the object breaking(particularly from a rifle round, like the famous shot by a swat sniper on a revolver) or the hand being injured by shrapnel and dropping. Arrows definitely have a harder time with that against appropriate armor and weapons. Awesome to see these tests, so much better than just speculating like the rest of us have to.
Yeah, for sure, that definitely makes sense, also so glad you enjoy them. It’s so cool to do and see how it actually works out. It’s honestly just a pleasure to share the results with people who enjoy the same stuff.
Holy Nerd God! It was awesome and marvelous🎉 Thx for this thrilling collaboration and I don't want to be greedy, but hope for more😅 Stay safe and nerdy❤
Great to see the trust amongst friends, awesome to see to grow men (such as myself) bond over playing with the best boy toys imaginable 😄 Love your work as usual Dash, you guys working together was so much fun to watch 😊
You guys are insanely cool! Glad you guys were able to make a final collaboration 😁 Never thought I’d be entertained by watching a grown man hit another grown man in the head with a frying pan 🍳 👍
Mrs Redar: “Honey! Why is the pan dented?” Dash: *nervous sweating “It accidentally fell on the floor when I was getting something else out of the cabinet.”
Nice video. And we can see you had a lot of fun. Panstrike fun fact. Me and my buddy were 18, half of night out stopped at my friend home for him to recover something to go to the disco. I was waiting in the car, but as his parents were already asleep he tried not to wake them, so no light, going in and out his room silently. It have taken him quite a bit of time than arrived, with medication on his forehead and a big blunt. His mother hearing someone moving silently have made a pan ambush. Lukly an small one, but a full swing that have broken the old handle :D An helmet would have been useful in that case :D
Thank you guys for making one more of these they are such entertaining and fun videos. I’m also glad he agreed to wear armor for the more dangerous stunt
Gandalf- Farewell... my brave hobbit’s My work is now finished. Here at last, on the shores of the sea... comes the end of our Fellowship. This quote comes to my mind at the end of this video 😂
imagine being dashs neighbor, wondering what the loud bangs are, then you look outside and there just a guy going ham on another dude with a frying pan.
Funnily enough one of them came up and asked if I was “dash Rendar” haha (which is not my real name) we had a fun talk. One of the first questions after that is if my hair is real 😂
@@dashrendar5320 i got asked the same question too, my hair at one point was down way past my shoulders. but it's since been cut short, kinda miss it sometimes.
"do not try this at home", brother I was 6 yo attaching knifes to sticks faking it was a spear grabbing the top of a trash bin to make it a shield!!! Of course Ima try all this!😂❤️ Been loving your videos!
This has got to be your craziest video yet! Thanks for taking brain damage for us Dash. Also what is your budget for armor and weapons...(and does your wife know what it is 🤣)
Hahaha happily! She does indeed know yes, thankfully most of it I have accumulated over the years. The only thing that gets really expensive is the arrows as they keep breaking
Love this collab, but I am curious your thoughts on if some of these movie tropes were just not possible, or if they are just not possible for people who don't spend their lives fighting actual battles? The Aragorn deflection may have been pure luck
What humans can do with practice and training is truly amazing. So I never want to fully discount anything as impossible, just unlikely but never truly “impossible” for much of the stuff. Aside from the stuff that just does not work out. Like the spear pushing someone back or the arrow knocking out of someone’s hand
That pan can no longer be used on an induction stove. Should have tried cast iron. I cook almost exclusively with cast iron and it had far more heft than that flimsy non-stick toxic crap. My 10.5" cast iron skillet would have made a big difference.
