Happy Graduation Day, Nic! Also next system test I dare you to pull the 2 pull stations in both buildings that are the closest to each other (yes, the shed and the shed under the deck count too). Congrats on the graduation man! I'm graduating tomorrow as well! Funny enough. This is definitely one of my favorite monthly test videos by far because of how in depth these testings were. I.e. the fire alarms, the emergency lighting, etc.
Happy Graduation from team Method! We're so proud of you. Amazing system test as always. Our manager wanted to add a comment along with this. "Very good! I love how in-depth you are along with your straightforwardness. Keep it up!"
Congratulations on graduating, Nic!!! I do have on idea that you should put the Carbon Monoxide portion of the Garage fire alarm system on Hazard Alert instead of supervisory. I don't know, just something to think about. Hey, I'll bet your coworker, Jamie is going to miss you
Nice that you're done with 12th grade and graduated out of this secondary school home of the Ravens seen in the school's gym and I'm done with 12th grade as well!
There is EMT conduit that there is some data and low-voltage ran in as a sleeve and the code used to be that any metal conduit or raceway must be bonded however I believe the code has now changed where it only needs to be if it's more than 3 m or something like that
11:35 play it at the railroad tracks and I will stop for it.. Sincerely, Lifetime sponsor of the FFA who makes a lot of hay, very little pay Posted Statement (PS): It's a song.
@@sterlinggarcia9859 no more that's why I said in my last replacement video it would be the last one as well as last summers testing videos I said that it would be the last time I would do some of those schools
That far ahead is unknown with the average cost of house around 1.2 million here and rent prices being ridiculous until I'm out of school in five years or so I won't even be planning moving out
- at my high school, a bunch of the newer exit signs never glow, but the status light on the side flashes. some of them flash 2 times and others flash 3. i have only seen 2 of the newer exit signs glow at the school (there are at least 20). but ALL the old ones glow. even one of the old ones that has a huge burn mark on it still glows. any idea what's happening here?
60 bucks?! Nah you could have used that to get carbon monoxide. Also congratulations on your graduation! Next time I am thinking detector in the house garage.
At 10:40 you mentioned that the detector "double blinked", what does that mean? Where I work we have the SK-PHOTO-W's and there was a time I was using the toaster and the person who used it before me didn't clean it properly so the room got a little smokey. I got worried that it would potentially set off the system so I began trying to fan out the room and that's when I saw the detector do the double blink thing. Does the "double blink" mean the detector started sensing something but not enough to fully set it off...? Or does it just do that when it's polling every so often...? Happy Graduation by the way, congrats!
I've noticed sometimes they start blinking a little quicker before they go off or if pre-alarm is set up it will go solid red if it's in pre-alarm at least on notifier flashscan.
I’m in a bit of a pickle and was wondering if you can give me any advice the panel I’m working on is having a problem where the acm annunciator is working but if I press the buttons they won’t do activate I’ve switched out the annunciator but to no avail 😢. any help would be very much appreciated
That's tough to say I guess just check programming and see what the buttons are programmed to do check address of the annunciator and communication protocol I can't think of much else other than dumping a new program in
Thank you I’ll see if that works for the panel although I don’t know how easy it will be to dump a new program in considering I’m using one of the legacy panels instead of an nfs panel
@@gamerboy12970 that would require tearing apart my entire first floor and parts of the second floor it would be a very damaging process and extremely expensive as well as risk of freezing
Who wants to hear my past experience with fire alarms: I also grew up in Canada but I grew up with horns without strobes. In elementary school, I would always get nervous every day because my elementary school had Wheelock MT, and it effected my learning because I'm autistic and horns are so bad for my mentality. That's not even the worst part, when they went off I would go into full panic and would have to plug my ears because they were bleeding loud. When I was in second and third grade in the winter, they would go off unexpectedly to any occupants. Only anyone reading this comment who is autistic, you would understand. When I first heard my highschool alarm for the first time: NB-24 fire bells, they had strobes and sounded alot better and didn't need to plug my ears. I was so thankful to have bells in my high school. Does anyone understand having to deal with Wheelock horns get nervous all the time because of them?
@@gamerboy12970you know the lights on the panels? Annunciators, panels etc. lamp test turns the lights on to make sure they work, doing a reset also works. I’ll be posting a video showing me resetting a system with a lamp test in abt a hour
