Actually the LCT 440 PURE is one step above the LCT 240 PRO in terms of technical details and price-point, but that does not mean that there no applications or voices for which the LCT 240 PRO might be better suited. In the end it does not come down to the question if one microphone is better than the other, the question is: how well does it fit the source and are the results pleasing ?
LEWITT i have the 440. Its the clearest mic ive ever owned and ive had neumann and akg mics before. I love it and im keeping it forever. I also want to get the 240 . Just wanted to make sure all mics in the lewitt line up are different
