Thanks for this video. I live near Palm Springs amd my water read 117.... first time I used Zero water (last night?) I got a 006 reading. This water tastes great!!!! I'm recommending this unit to everyone I know.
I live in McDonough Georgia my tapwater is not that bad it’s only around 42 to 50 ppm and of course after I filter the water and pour it into a clean container it does register triple zero this filter is far superior better than the others and is definitely worth the money at least in my opinion. One thing this filter does if you look down the list when you buy this filter filters out about 99% of fluoride which is something you do not need in your water and it does a lot of bad stuff overtime to the body and the leading other water filters only filter out about four or 6% of fluoride so to me that one feature there is worth it but all the way around it’s just a better filter . also for shits and giggles I tested some of the Walmart great value brand water and even hit register 22 ppm but that’s not necessarily a bad thing because bottled water does have added minerals back to it so it could be picking that up so the tester that comes with it is pretty damn accurate
@@KGSpradleyAuthor My first zero water filter lasted me eight months and when I changed it it was only at 004 and not the 006 but because I have had it for a while I went ahead and changed it anyway but I definitely do not drink the tapwater anymore. I’m sure it was a lot better when I moved down here 35 years ago from Atlanta.
Both filtered and tap water read 0 on mine using a mug. I'll try to track down a plastic cup, and hopefully it'll contain some bpa so I can get a reading
You’re so lucky. Where do you live? In Texas my tap water is at 262. I just bought a Waterdrop brand because I liked the pitcher, but that one reads at 242 and it’s brand new. I’m going to have to return it. 😞
@@InterplanetJanet84depending on what is in the water you could get pure spring water that is clean and healthy and it could read 220 ppm but yes usually the tap water ppm contains loads of crap. i’m in maryland and mine is about 222 and zerowater makes it 000 and i have a berkey that makes the tap water go from 222 to 170 but that is because it doesn’t take out beneficial minerals. zerowater is unbeatable for the price id say unless you get an under the sink system perhaps, costs more upfront but less over the years

I have refilled my new zero water pitcher like 6 times. I'm trying to get the 0 reading and still hasn't happened. It went to 029 at one point and I thought the next refill I was about to do will finally read at 000. But it read at 065. I am sooo mad. I don't understand. I haven't been able to drink the water yet because I'm still trying to get rhat 000 reading so I can put it in the fridge.
My water from a well tests 0 but my filters are only lasting about 3 weeks. What is stopping them up? They used to last about 4 months before clogging.
0??? How is that possible. Should be at least 1 or you have some good distilled water right there. Perfect for ironing clothes. If you want a proper reverse osmosis system don’t forget the mineralizer part unless you want to suffer from deficiencies.
