As your shade twin, I won’t be buying this until you tell me which shade works 🤣 . I love a tinted moisturizer for everyday use in the summer, but I would be afraid of this one. I HATE products that oxify, it seems to be so much more noticeable on us pale ladies. On the other hand, I love the eyeshadow quad. I have seen it but assumed it would make me look like a clown, but it’s absolutely lovely. Thank you for trying products out Gemma, it takes all of the guess work out of purchasing makeup for me!

I think you're stunning. At your age I had no wrinkles, blemishes or sun spots but now I'm closer to your Mom's age so would love to see more videos of your Mom's skin care and make up routines. I think some of the toughest problems as we age are makeup setting into the lines around the eyes, dark under eye circles and trying to cover sun spots without looking like we are covered in heavy concealers. so would love to see your Mom in the future......and you too. Thank you for all your videos. I am constantly making lists of new items to try based on your suggestions.

Yes , you got oranger by the minute. It’s one thing to oxidize , but to turn orange! Oh no!! Would definitely be afraid to purchase this product. Your eyes looked very beautiful! You always look beautiful ❤️

I use the Drunk Elephant Bronzing drops by adding to my tinted mineral spf. I found in the summer I didn’t need foundation etc during the day as the tint in the spf was enough. Usually it’s more my winter shade so I just warm it up with the DE product and it works really well. I used it with Paula’s Choice Anti Aging spf in the blue packaging. I find the PC product is great for my oily combo skin and blurs the look of pores. It was my fab combo of previous summers. I would be keen to try this new rosy product to add into that routine.

I am your shade twin. I mix 1 N with the 0N. And it does oxides on me big time. But with the right color. I love it!! I am normal to dry skin. And I use oil free

Hi Gemma, not a fan of oranges on the face but I used that trick about lighting the inside of the eye up to the eyebrow. I used my Crystal Nebular highlighter from Lisa Eldridge and it looks great. I didn’t even use concealer and no hint of my discolouration around my eyes showed. Thanks, I’m always learning from you. Also, Capsicum is what the doctor prescribed for me to rub on the areas affected by arthritis. I stopped using it as everything I touched after applying it, in spite of washing my hands, burned and I was looking after my granddaughter during the day at that time 🥵

Colourpop has a GREAT palate called “orange” with similar colors plus more. Love it for blue eyes!!

That radiance booster looks beautiful. I find Laura Mercier bases are all too orange. I'm usually the fairest shade in everything! That oxidisation is pretty horrific

I’ve been using the LM tinted moisturizer for a couple of months and haven’t had any issue with oxidation. Mind you, I use 0N1 Petal. Definitely not orange! 😬

I got the DE Debronzi (or something) to go with the pink stuff. They mix together & look nice, if you want a darker blush. Perhaps you could try it with your Iconic London?

Rose Hip oil isn't a miracle worker. Your skin probably needed hydration and nourishment which could be achieved with many oils on the market. Rose hip oil is lovely in texture though. I'm glad you enjoy using it xxx

Have you tried using the LM tinted moisturiser without the primer? (although you did demonstrate on a bare arm). I used the same primer that you have used in this video and not only did I find it oxidised the tinted moisturiser but it also made it go a bit patchy. Love the finished look. Wasn't sure about the eye shadow colours at first but I actually think the warmer tones look great with your brown eyes.

Do you think the Drunk Elephant blush drops would mix with Cloud Paint? It does actually. I can’t stand the dispenser because when you shake it the product oozes out too fast and it’s messy. Should have done the pump like the old d-Bronzi. People hate the new packaging which is the same as this.

I can’t figure out the shades of the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. In the swatches on Sephora, the 0N1 shade looks way darker than 1N2.

Hi Gemma. I am using the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, oil-free, in Petal...which matches my very pale skin really well. I have not had any oxidation issues and have been using it for several weeks now. I think maybe you got a bad one. ??? It does really look good on me (you know me, Casper..lol). Maybe contact LM and see if they will send you a new one. Beautiful eye look! You look gorgeous!

I'm using the Laura Mercier tinted moisture not the oil free version vanilla shade and I'm usually the same shade as you are Gemma. It didn't oxidize on my skin. But again it's not the oil free version. Not sure why this happened to you. But yes its differently oxidizing on you. I'm sticking with the one I bought.

I bought the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer late last year I believe it was. Kept it in the cupboard unopened for about 6 weeks till I finished what I was using it. When I finally opened it and put some on my hand it was bright orange!! The damn thing had oxidized in the tube before it was even opened. Of course Sephora wouldnt accept the return as it was over a month since purchase. Wrote an email to Laura Mercier themselves regarding their product and of course never recieved a response from them. I used to love her products but after that total waste of money and lack of response I wont be buying anything from them again. Im not the only person who has had a similar issue with this tinted moisturizer yet she isnt addressing the problem. Your eye makeup is absolutely stunning! Im turning into a real fan of Nars cosmetics the more I see of them. This was a great video! Take care and stay safe Gemma xx

I use Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser, 1C1/Cameo, & among all foundations and and tinted moisturisers I tried is one of my two favourites. It is easy to apply, lasts long time, it does not settle in the wrinkles, does not need correcting, looks natural... I only wish it is not so shining, though it could also be due to my SPF. The one I have is in the older packaging. The one you use is a new. I haven't checked if the formula also differs, I just assume it is the same. I don't know why yours oxidises. Is it possible that one shade of the product does that and other not, I wonder. I see that with a new packaging my shade is gone, there is 1C0/Cameo instead, but on the swathes the still have 1C1. Anyway I am not worried, that brand I can always take sample.

I hated the LM tinted moisturiser because the shade that should have been my match made me look like an oompa loompa. So, so orange. An expensive error I will never repeat.

It’s more subtle and therefore easier to use. It’s also a looser formula rather than a thick cream x

Not sure if it’s me but I have lighter skin than you Gemma , I think, went into Harvey Nicks and had a shade match and came up the same colour you bought and it hasn’t oxidised on me

Well, I'm all for having my lips titillating by some "plump job activator" .... Anyone else 😂😂😂😂 So I'm stuck now, because the Laura Mercier foundation oxidised a good 2 shades , imo, I'm not sure what shade to order. I mean, does it oxidise ALL shades or just a few? I hate it when products behave badly. It wouldn't be an issue if we could return items, as is the normal in the US. Cheers for the very handy tip regarding the eye pencil. Sorry Gemma, I wont be buying any more makeup for some time. Just found out that 'someone, likely troops, are going to be coming door to door here in the US to make sure we are ALL vaccinated. I am saving every dime, every penny even, to leave the country. I hate America now. Do want to say it's a lovely look on you tho, ty!
