Me too,for the longest time!!I thought I had the worst skin,was the worst at makeup .I had to go and watch videos of what celebrities really look like,and on how much filters and lighting can effect a look..changed my whole perspective!! I wish all makeup and skin influencers would be more forthcoming with filters used etc

My favourite Disney movie has always been Pocahontas-hear me out. She was the first character I related to, she wasn’t a princess in a castle; she felt more real. She looked more like me. As an adult growing up in an Indigenous family, I get the issues with it. I still love the style of the movie; the background art is just lovely. The leaves have always been an obsession of mine. (I could really do without the whole “savages, barely even human” shit…)

OMG stitch!!! My son and his friend Ava are obsessed with stitch RN. She just had a stitch birthday party! I gotta get it bc he loves when I get makeup that's themed with stuff he likes... Especially the sponge! For me and Disney, Alice in wonderland & little mermaid all the way. Turning red was actually pretty good too.

I have to say the little mermaid is definitely my favorite. I was with an award winning tattoo artist and have been heavily tattooed for many many years. And I decided to do my whole back shoulders to button cheeks is a Lil mermaid scene with Ursula, flotsam jetsum, flounder, sebastion and of course Arial in these big scenes on my back and I'm so happy I did. I let his best friend do it because it was more his specialty and it needs little things to be finished. Me and the tattoo artist broke up a while ago but remained friends because our son and still like family with all the guys who work for him ( he owned a very popular shop here with many award winning artists) sadly he passed away in a car accident a year ago but I'm so thankful for our son and all the art I have from him and our friends. Anyways love Disney but Lil mermaid is life
