The environment of the International Space Station isn’t exactly hospitable to the human body. In this video, Loren Grush tries out some of the specialized machines astronauts use to workout in space to stay healthy in microgravity.
This is an episode of The Verge’s original series Space Craft with Loren Grush, and we thought you’d like to see it here at Verge Science!

If they did 100 push ups, 100 squats, 100 sit ups and a 10 km run every day, an astronaut would be able to survive the vacuum of space when being kicked into the moon

Yes, but the material would break a lot more easily, and as it became damaged we wouldn't get as much resistance from it.

While you're getting your degrees though, you'll want to study up on general and specific space-related topics. I suggest playing KSP for a while to find your area of expertise if you think you want to go into flight mechanics. As for the air force, I suggest that you do not do that unless you have to for various reasons as stated in the articles commented previously.

Once humans leave Earth they are no longer human. (Those living on Mars are Martians) This of course takes time, so just going into space for a while is not enough, though changes do occur as we see on this video.
