Whatever you create ends up being absolutely beautiful! I'm not an illustrator but I admire artists like you, furrylittlepeach, and pearfleur-- such distinct and confident art styles. Much love from Maryland, USA!
You’re so talented. I love your art style, but it’s really lovely to see you do some “realism.” Just proves how talented you are and your use of colours *chefs kiss* by far one of my favourite artists on RU-vid.
This video was so fun!! It was so cool to see you use these markers in a different way that you wouldn’t usually see, I’m happy you enjoyed them!! I might have to shake off the rust on my Ohuhus because this was super inspiring!! I also loved the portrait, and the added texture you were able to achieve with the pencils!! I love how alcohol markers work with colored pencils!!
I love how the crocodile turned out. He's adorable. I can't wait to see your final illustration! Also, the portrait is amazing. I really like how you used the markers in this video. It's a bit different to how I normally see them used. It's nice to see a different technique.
i personally love blending alcohol markers and colored pencils. the blender marker can actually act as a sort of solvent to the pencils, in much the same way, zestit does. I loved seeing how you used them to glaze some of your collage papers to create such interesting texture to the little crocodile! thanks for such a fun video to watch!
Emily every technique that you use is perfectly done, beautiful and sweet. You are unique. Everything that you create show your amazing talent. You are my favourite artist. ❤😊
Yees, Crocodiles! So cute! I love crocodiles, and they get very little affection because they tend to be seen as more on the creepy side. But they are so cool and you made it look so super cute! Cannot wait for the bigger illustration!
Your crocodile is adorable 😍 Tip: Watch out for the light fastness of these markers. I had had a sketch on my wall for a couple months that faded quite a bit. I had used the ohuhu markers too. Can’t wait to see what else you do! 🥰
Zooooo mooi dit portret ❤❤❤ zo verliefd op al je werken je bent een echt natuurtalent!! Zie zo graag naar al je video’s en top prestaties je mag erg trots zijn op jezelf 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My only problem with alcohol markers is that they are not lighfast. They fade way quicker than paints from my old and cheap watercolor set, and those fade like crazy. I would definetly keep that in mind when using these. But the texture you created with them for the collage is absolutely beautiful, as is everything you do!
Thank you so much for this video ! You are so talented and I did not know about your talent for "portrait":-) You had such a great idea about using these markers for making backgrounds !!! I love that and I will definitely use your idea ! Take care and see you in your next video ! Thanks for everything, Natalie
this was perfectly timed, I just decided yesterday I was going to ask for these exact markers for Christmas, and I feel like this was a sign of a good decision!!
Australia 24 Dec. Emily happy holidays. I followed on you tube since you was at university. I am your fan and love your work. God bless you and have a wonderful new year. ❤😊🎉
You definitely want to get all the marker work done first. You also want to make sure you're using marker paper that is closer to card stock. Work a bit more with the brush nib. Once you get the hang of the pressure variations, it's SO much like using a watercolor brush. I also find that the brush nib gives much more even coverage than the chisel AND gives a more even blend.
There's an old cartoon from the 1980s called Sissyfur. The antagonists in that cartoon were two crodiles. Maybe that will inspire you when you wanna create more crocodiles for your illustrations. That being said. I just got introduced to your channel and you're very talented and I love your eye for detail in your art
Really, really good video! The portrait is spectacular. I’ve not been subscribed long enough to see your art in other styles, so the portrait really amazed me. I didn’t see the child until you turned the paper. The portrait morphed in surprising ways. I wonder if you watch Kattvalk. She has a bazillion markers and pens including Ohuhu. I think your alligator is very good.
