Testing out the Sony RX100V Slow Motion (HFR)

I had some time to kill whilst in Weston Super Mare whilst waiting for a job so thought i would have a play with the high frame rate mode on my new RX100V.
This was shot at 250fps, quality priority. Still trying to figure out exactly how to use it (im a canon user mostly!) But it seems like an amazing little camera so far.
I put a silly anamorphic crop on this, as was just trying out the frame guidlines etc, but hey, gotta experiment with these things!) View it in full screen for best effect.

Very nice! Finally someone putting this camera to good use :) I swear I've watched over a hundred clips of HFR shot in this cam and all them looked rubbish... blotchy and overly digital. I wasn't convinced until seeing this Your footage is very filmic, much flatter in picture and colour. What picture profile did you use and did you customise the sharpness/contrast/colour etc?

Thanks mate. This is shot in S-log and graded lightly with Film Convert in Premiere Pro. Merry Christmas!

lovely shots! How are you retaining focus, especially in the shallow depth of field shots as doesn't HFR mode lock out focus..? Can you set the focus at certain distance before shooting? thank you
