the pregnancy belt thing is for women who have pelvic issues during pregnancy. I had pelvic symphysis at like 4 months and the pressure of the baby in my pelvis was so painful I needed the belt to hold the baby up throughout the day
Totally agree with this, I’m 4’11 and when pregnant with my twins I needed this at around 5 months until about 4-5wks postpartum then I switched to a faja to help my abdomen (wonderful thing about csections, you basically have to reconnect the severed muscles and hope they didn’t do some cross stitch work when seeing you back together because it can affect the way your muscles look under the skin)
Yes! I had SPD when I was pregnant with my son. It was excruciating. The belt helped reduce my discomfort slightly at least. I got it from my physical therapist. The belt is also intended to be worn a bit lower than where she is wearing it, to really help holding your pelvis together and get baby up essentially.
Thanks ladies. This video was very cute! It's no fault of your own that the belt seemed like a silly gadget being that Molly seems to adore pregnancy and thrive thru it. So congrats babe on your strong body and congrats on your 2nd healthy sweet baby. Women who handle pregnancy well are great candidates for surrogy. Also thanks for hearting the comment, so if a new mom struggling with pelvis pain did see this she would know that they do help a little. Put it kinda low around the hips to "push the bones back together" essentially
The support belt actually helps especially once you're 30+ weeks AND chasing a toddler. You're not to the super uncomfortable part yet...plus it's worse the second time around and sooner! So don't knock it till you try it when you're huge!
@@alysounstone-malagon4814 the body definitely knows what it's doing the subsequent times around, so much sooner too! I used mine way more the second time around. Plus carrying toddlers on top of being huge and pregnant you definitely need something
I appreciate that Ro made sure Molly was the first to speak and give her opinion on everything. I feel like many people ignore the mom during pregnancy and make everything about themselves or the baby. Ro made sure that Molly had a voice and shared equal time in the video
I actually used the belly band and it helped a lot during my pregnancy. I worked at a daycare with the 3-6 month olds. Lots of lifting and bending. My back was killing me as my belly grew. This saved me. There was a huge difference on days that I did wear it vs days that I didn't.
The "grabber" has been around for years, and I grew up calling it a reacher. It's not for picking up phones. It's moreso for reaching other things you can't quite reach. Mugs with handles on a top shelf, clothes. It's not meant to tie shoes lol
yes and no, it can be used to pick up phones. the main use for it is for elderly people who it is no longer safe for them to bend over to pick things up, to make it safer and easier for them :)
It can also be used as an aid for dressing for people who have undergone surgeries like hip replacements or have deficits in mobility due to conditions such as a stroke.
Just to add as well, there are heaps of different kinds out there and depending on the shape of the claw ends it definitely can pick up a mobile phone. The ones I use also have a magnet for paper clips and things
I have had a grabber for years since I started having back issues and bending over can hurt. I'm also only 5'2" so there's a lot I cant reach. Why didn't I get one sooner?! 😅
You have been my inspiration for so many years and I can't thank you enough. You seem like such an amazing person and everyone who knows you is blessed congrats on your sister
I’ve been watching Ro since 2018, and I’ve gotten to see how much Ro has grown into an amazing person ( and her hair changing 😉). Molly has also been such an inspiration to Ro and everyone.
congratulations on the pregnancy. im currently 31 weeks with boy girl twins and my oldest is 11 months. i loved the doppler with my daughter but with the twins it’s a lot harder. and the belly support band does help a lot because i have a few complications with my pregnancy. and they dropped recently. enjoy your pregnancy it’s honestly awesome.
I have two questions 1st question how did you come up with the names and second do they have meaning to you so sorry that I’m asking you this stuff again so sorry
@@kaleighsworld3812 we liked micah wade with our oldest and lylah rose we came up with we knew we wanted middle names that had something to do with the environment my dads middle name is michael so we got micah. lylah and eliza we thought were pretty and older not as common
i remember watching you both in early 2016 back when you used to make cooking videos together like the pizza challenge etc its so great to see how big you guys have grown enjoy the success!
I had my first baby last year and I used the strap when my bump got bigger. I wore it all the time under my clothes during the day. It helps when you place the bottom strap under your bump....like a hammock. It definitely helped with my ligament pain 👍🏽 definitely don't knock it till you try it 😇
I can’t wait for the baby! Plz do a video on the baby when it comes! I love your vids! Plz continue making vids! Your amazing! Your the best! You two are beautiful! I can’t wait to see the baby!
Ro, I wasn’t feeling the best but your smile immediately make me feel better! Thanks for your amazing content. I’m a little late but… Oh and I have been subscribed for 4-10 months now Thanks again! This vid definitely deserves a like!
The first gadget btw is a support belt for sciatic pain and is best to use later in pregnancy and saved my back for a few months now. If u don't have sciatic nerve pain u won't feel a huge difference. But they're so worth it when ur nerves hurt
You both look wonderful! Congratulations Molly!!! There are these shoes that I’ve heard of that are supposed to help with pregnancy, they are slip on and have a back that goes down for you so you don’t have to bend over, I think you should try them out! They’re called Zuba shoes.
I’m a makeup artist and worked until I was 30 weeks pregnant, I had a maternity belt and that thing helped me so much! I also had a 9 lb 5 oz baby so I needed it desperately for the last two months going anywhere.
Oh my goodness!! This was so cute and endearing 🥰 I love the bonding y'all do. Also, most definitely would enjoy y'all recreating Rihanna's looks. How fun! ☺️
I have never done this but I wish I had, but you should try to have different bowls of water with food coloring in it or just one with blue or purple, then dip the strips into the colored water to see what kind of color effect it would have when it dries. You look super cute Molly. Love you both!!!!
My brother and his wife are expecting their second baby, too so I have been loving the baby videos 😊 this was so cute and helpful! You both look beautiful as always 💜
It would have been super funny to see Ro taking one of the gender tests too xD Edit: suggestions for the baby speakers, you can tuck them into your belly bands/ maternity pants!
For what it's worth that is one of the better extender claws. It looks like the one we used in Nunsense to hold REALLY tiny plastic bags with medals in them AND Holy Saint cards to hand out to audience members who won a prize.
