I know for a fact that it is impossible for something like "player 17" to occur. Servers whenever made, are not open to lan by default usually, they must be whitelisted unless they can exploit a brute force system. Even so, the fact that the footage on a separate device being corrupted sounds way too sketchy. It's simply not possible to alter the processes of alternate devices unless they are linked together. Plus the fact that this "player 17" put a file on the computer whenever you were not aware of it suggest some inside manipulation or deception of another kind, or third party involvement. Unless of course this "player 17" is a skilled hacker since singleplayer worlds, when active and not set to lan or server, are in fact probably listed as a private server only accessible by an ip or identifying key. However, the mention of the number 17 holding special value could be taken as something more than a mere historical reference. For those of you who are also in the comments and know other game communities, you may know what I am hinting at. Though, this is entirely speculation as such a crossover event is impossible to occur unless both games were installed on the same drive. This reference comes from the game known as undertale, and the specific number of 17 is special due to the mysterious nature of "entry number 17". Just something to point out that entry number 17 in undertale is associated with many differing events regarding the "fun" value which also allude to the game's code changing each run in the same way each minecraft world is generated separately.

Can you test if there are time zones in Minecraft? Just use the same command about 100 50 times and then spam a bunch of swiftness potions and just see if their time zones that’s it and if it’s true then so solar eclipses are true, but you never experience them and that means…
