No he is correct. What if no one sends you an email and you're 200-300$ down and earn nothing? And not to mention its illegal money(according to my experience) meaning these people can literally offer 10$ if they want to. Or even offer 10 cents or even nothing. Thats how gypsies work
@@threoninthere is no way to start 99% of bussinesses without a little bit of money but yes you shouldn't invest a lot of money to bussines that won't make money
When a youtuber doesnt add commentary its lazy but when the youtuber adds commentery they comment section says "he is the type of guy that doesn't shut up during a movie"
@@AdmiralMayowell this is barely commentary. if you're going to piggyback off other people's content for a living, at least have some original thoughts. this guy just says what's happening, doesn't even add jokes
@@Trangoont No shit. You have to invest in a business before you can start it. Be it a restaurant where you need cooking equipment or drawing portraits at the beach where you need paper and pencils.
No you don’t, there is nothing wrong with it but you can simply sell products make money then say it’s delayed then spend the money you got from people buying to buy the products to sell them, so now you made money before you spend it
Fr, even assuming you only get one (decent sized) job a day that's still $100-200 that's more than some people make daily at their actual job, not even accounting for if you have multiple jobs a day
@@onisan2659 no because first you get money from ypur first client then you by the gear with you clients money. Simple as that. You dont have to put your own money down just your clients
It's doable 100% but you'll find out sooner or later that it isn't a side hustle it's a whole ass job what happens when you scrape the paint out of an owner's house or someone wants to randomly sue you, you'll eventually need insurance etc
@@NotIsrar you never want to use pressure as it ruins the home, will leave lines, and is harmful to the home. Softwashing is and always will be the correct way to clean a home. It’s safe and will do just as good even better.
I know a guy running a small pressure washing business in the UK he's charging £220 a job and is doing approx £100k turnover not bad for a small service based business
@@lorcha1237 bro how do you think a sole proprieter starts his business then. He needs capital. That's the first thing in a business which Is needed to even start one.
@@lorcha1237and assuming you don't have a phone, computer, or internet access? If you could (easily) start a business with no capital, homeless people wouldn't be homeless, and poor people wouldn't be poor.
Or: don't purchase anything for your "business" (side hustle in this case) until you have customers/know that your work will be profitable. If he never got a person to reply to him then that would mean he wasted 200 dollars he could've used for a different job, see what I mean?
These videos keep popping up and my first response is always "is this dude literally just posting another person's content while occasionally nodding and agreeing???"
You can live off it if you get 1 customer a day if its about 100 per customer 1 customer a day would be 3000 a month which is way more than mcdonalds pay for 40 hours a week
Bro... How do you expect him to get a power washer? His 13th cousins uncles dog twice removed pet dinosaurs from the Amazon jungle who passed it down to him?
If any of you goofs in the comments knew anything about business, the best business is where you dont have to spend a penny to start You start your business with other people's money, make a profit, amd then return it Of course in this case the kid had to buy the powerwasher, but stop hating on the other dude for thinking that spending $200 before the business starts is a little bit crazy
Rich people are good targets for these jobs, you don't feel bad for charging more since they're rich and they don't mind spending more (as long as it's a good job) since, again, they're rich.
You need to factor in the time it takes to drive to and from the courts because those are the times that won't make you money this bringing your $ per hour down by quite a lot. If it takes you 20 minutes to drive one way, takes 5 minutes to set up, hours you spent going around putting up flyers, advertising on Yelp, Google, etc, contacting customers, you'll end up making more like $30 per hour. You can hire people to help you wash which is where you scale and make the big $.
Bro I need to step up my prices I’m 16 and I’ve been charging 12$ an hour I figured because I didn’t know what the hell I was doing I should start really low until I learn what a job is worth
I am nto going to talk about what he said at the beginning. I am gonna talk about "go to the rich areas" like are you dumb? Rich people will have a whole gardening company every month or so to get every thing cleaned for them. Poor people need service that rich people have.
Save 25-30% of the earning then reinvest into larger more efficient equipment and advertising then when you've made a name for yourself hire employees and there you go you now have a beginning company
I mean this is a sidehustle that could turn into a business if you expand on it and grow it like you could start with power washing then eventually invest in like a weedwacker/lawnmower and make the start of a landscaping business or turn it into a universal servies like plumbing, landscaping and overall home care
So like you said that "I'd recommend going to rich areas those are the people who you really wanna target." Yes but if they are rich they already have people to do this.
I won’t even let him wash mines even if he pays me 100 dollars You could see how terrible his job it’s not worth it he even disconnected the Downsprout
People here talking about you need to invest first but you really dont. Sell your service first then buy the stuff you need so youre never down any money. If it takes you couple weeks to get your equipment then you can give them a discoynt for like 20% in your first sales.
Ok talk me through how you would go about this. You advertise to your client that you will clean their drive way. They ask you when you can do it. What do you say ? You have no equipment, and no one in their right mind is going to pay the amount of money it takes to buy the equipment for cleaning their driveway. Also asking people for money upfront like that is asking for a lot of trust, for someone who hasn't proven themselves yet. Doing stuff like this is stupid.
