If you ever use a pot or maybe something like the bear bowl on direct fire, you can put dish soap on the outside bottom and it will burn the soap instead of the pot and then it's super easy to wipe the soap off. Keeps your outdoor pots from getting all black.

It looks like a sheet of Teflon. That stuff is waterproof and can handle a TON of heat. I use it to cook things on bc it's nonstick. It can handle like 500 degrees before not being safe for food. But can handle a lot more before burning or degrading.

Slightly off topic but I noticed that at least sometimes I have all 5 sense in dreams. Like obviously sight and hearing but I’m encountering more and more dreams where I have full blown smell, taste, and touch, hell I even feel genuine pain sometimes while dreaming. In the Army we had these things called Mess Tins, you could fill them with water or food. They then boiled water or heated food when exposed to a heat source. The cooking device is just mess tins from a newer material.

Not that I feel the need to fill a banana rather than just spread stuff on if I want stuff, but I'd probably use jam if I did. If you're feeling adventurous though you could concoct some kind of fruit and/or vegetable smoothie to fill it with. It might be good or it might be terrible depending on what all you put into the smoothie.

We used to boil water in paper bowls over open fires. It's actually a really simple explanation. Water boils at 100 degrees C so the paper, that needs 230 degrees C to burn, won't get any hotter than that. So as long as there is water in the bowl any material with a higher flame point than 100 C will work.

You should use the banana thing to fill a pickle with chili paste. Something that might actually be a good use for it is filling brats with cheese. Another not completely terrible idea would be to core some frozen brownies/cake and fill them with ice cream or whipped cream. When you cringe at this, just remember that you asked for terrible suggestions.

The term you're looking for is backdraft. Acts like an explosion, it's when a fire in a confined space runs out of oxygen but is still super heated, and then there's a sudden introduction of oxygen and it self reignites from the heat already there
