You have to turn the switch on to get battery voltage to the regulator.

I’m chasing down a drain on my dad’s battery. It’s showing .7A (series with the negative terminal) when off. The fuse was burnt but still functional. Pulling the fuse gets the current to zero. Pulling the rectifier harness gets it to zero as well. I’ve tried two new rectifiers and still get the same readings. When running full throttle, the voltage across the battery is 13.4. Do you have any thoughts on where I should look next? What is in the wiring after the rectifier? Thank you for this video! I’ll be checking the other measurements tomorrow.
