Testing the cheapest retractable water hose on Amazon! Junk or Awesome?

I have 2 of these, from Menards. One is 8 years old the other Is 6years old. One in back of house other in front. About same price as yours. I recommend these

Boy, I wish! With the lack of rain, the municipal water has sooooo much chlorine- I've taken to filling containers & leaving them out overnight, so the chemicals evaporate. So, until my rain water storage is done (& it actually rains!), I'm toting containers daily.. 🤬

I have one of those gliders at camp along with some steel lawn chairs that match. They were going to scrap and I said no way Jose they don’t make stuff like that anymore.

Hi Josh, I have heard in the past that if you want carrots to grow long and slender that they should have to search for water. Kinda makes sense to me . I absolutely love your channel. Especially tool Tuesday. Your way of explaining everything, use and safety precautions, surpasses any kind of review done by Consumer's Guide !! I'm really hopeful that many other manufacturers will get wind of your talents, and want to partner with you to give many reviews of their products. Just keep doing what you do best !

retractable hose reels have been available for over 30 years. I had one back in the70's

I'm hoping that the Case for that Hose is not going to fall apart, because chances are it's not UV Protected... This will make you SO HAPPY due to it's compact size and Versatility! Do you have Irrigation near your Raised Vegetable Garden Beds? Look into using Drip Irrigation, boy howdy I love mine when I also added a Digital Timer!

Josh, I bought a retractable hose reel last year off Amazon and it works great… I use it every day! The one I bought is a Giraffe brand. You’re gonna love it. 👍

Got flower/veggie pots around house. Also got cats. Had to put hardware cloth over pots and troughs due to cats using them for littler boxes... LOL.

we've had these in Australia for years, one on most houses. they are really good except for the spring inside breaks on some brands so the hose no longer retracts. handy things though

I always had decent luck using a 100ft retractable Air Hose for watering.

Look in the booklet that came with the new hose. See if there is any lubrication points that you would want to lubricate, especially on the tentionor spring. Really cool though, Josh!

How many Kitties have do you have? LOL We had a bench like that when I was a kid back in the 70's/80's but my dad painted it an Ugly Dark Green, But I think ours was a 3 seater, but I could be mistaken.

I definitely like the idea of the edible landscapes. I was reading an article about victory Gardens. During World War II there were food shortages and labor shortages which made it worse and Americans just started turning the front lawns in the gardens and growing food for them and their neighbors and they called them victory gardens and they took care of themselves when the stores or empty. I remember talking to my grandmother. Things like soap we’re very hard to get and a lot of supplies we just don’t think about and being more self-sufficient may not be necessary at the moment but it’s clear we have supply chain issues and food shortages and our government doesn’t seem real enthusiastic about solving them. Victory gardens or edible landscapes and being self-sufficient in general it’s just a good idea. It’s also pretty healthy, factory farming is at this point mostly growing food in barren soil with chemical fertilizers in those foods are missing a lot of the nutrients and minerals that they get out of healthy ground. The way you compost and build your soil up is healthier.
