I’ve owned the Stihl 250 and 240 trimmers over the years. Recently bought the echo 3020t and if any other trimmer compares to the stihls it’s the echo 3020t. Your not seeing it’s full potential in the video. Take the guard off and let the string out and hear it scream. You will be impressed. No hesitation and no vibration. Pure power

I bought the 3020u and it bogged down instantly, so I returned it. The fs240 has never let me down.

the 280t has 28.1cc and the 3020t has 30.5 cc

both are excellent choices!

@@michaelangeli3209 get your hands on an old worn down t model and swap the gearbox. It makes a huge huge difference. the t gearbox won't bog out . . . ever . . . unless you are trying to trim 2 x 4's lol

A 2620T is probably overkill for a residential house in a subdivision...SRM-225 is likely enough-priced right-super lightweight and still has the SpeedFeed head...you could step up to the SRM-266 and still be overkill...I have a 2620T, 266 and previously 2x225 for reference...all used in various commercial/residential applications

Only thoughts. ... for residential urban type with occasional high grassy stuff less than 16 inches VS brushy or tall grassy stuff 16 inches to 5 ft or so tall ect ,VS small saplings ect.. ... the only downside to the 2620 is the smaller 17 inch diameter cutting swath. . Compared to 20 inch on 3020. If that's not a problem even the 2620 is pretty good power ... especially if you don't need the high torque 2620 pas model....... the 2620 T model seems like it was made for .105 black diamond line..... it's like butter through tough crabby thick grass that usually bogs other models... the 3020 T with .130 line is probably a considered a light brush trimmer without the need for a dedicated blade... now that's saying something. .. Compared to spending way more for these very high cc models over 40cc or more... that accept .150 line.. Every time one make a swiping pass motion with the 3020 , they are removing 3 inches more,,,, over say 500 swipes, times 3 inches is 1500 inches saved , or approximately 125 feet less you wouldn't have to swipe to cut, because it's already cut it with the longer swath on the 3020.....huge time saver......but also heavier... SO they have a strap kit that may help reduce fatigue. ....

Hey In your situation overkill with this trimmer or 2620T is well worth it.

3020T perfect for early Saturday mornings 😂😂 especially with noisy neighbors!! Revenge mode!! 😂
