By flowing nitrogen between vacuums you push out moisture faster. If you let minimum moisture in and flow nitrogen while brazing it may not be necessary
I just use the fieldpiece micron gauges they do an tell me everything for a vacuum ect..500 our under is a perfectly acceptable vacuum and why three vacuums?? I want that pump I have the model that came out just before that one vp85 8cfm the ten is definitely nice!!
Shouldn’t have the micron gauge so close to the vacuum pump…you want to put it on the liquid line as far from the pump as possible and pull through the suction to ensure a deep vacuum.
I can tell from this comment you didn't watch the video, on the third vacuum the micron gauge is on the liquid line and under 100 microns. I'd say I pulled a pretty deep vacuum. Thanks for watching, even though I don't think you did. I'm also pulling through the suction and liquid, as the manufacturer recommends in the install sheet.
Just to test it wasn't absolutely necessary in this application. But if you have a big system with lots of moisture the triple evacuation can speed up the process of moisture removal.
