You have to go a little slower when you're pulling it down. And ALWAYS make sure that the rotation of the barrel is going away from your face.

Hi, I was so happy I saw a video on the instyler. I have had one for over 7 years. I actually use it the other way. The turning barrel goes up, and when you do curls you kind of start turning the brush with you. It really gives awesome curls. My curls in the picture was done with it.

you're doing it wrong. i have the InStyler tool for years and it gives me a better hair style and look than the one i get at my hair salon.

My hair is 2B - 3A and I've had my instyler since 2009. It's is still the best straightener I've ever used, the only thing I have an issue with is that I wish the iron part was longer so I could work with larger sections AND get more volume, and that the brush had some stiffer bristles to really BRUSH the hair as it straightens, but I fix that by just using my own brush in front of the straighter to align the hair.

It works really good on my hair I have small tight curls and i love this straightener....your supposed to take smaller sections and go slower...you used it wrong for the curls your supposed to use it like if you were starting your hair and as your pulling down you kind of turn the instyler

I have mine for years maybe 5-6, you do have to go slower and stop for a second at the end to get that healthy look. I just purchase today the brushX let see how good it is! 🙀

I don’t think you gave the product a fair shot lol. I had one a very long time ago and I think it was one of the best straighteners I’ve used. You went too fast while straightening it. And the barrel can turn while you’re curling it, but it has to go the same direction as the curl.

I have 3b/3c hair and this is my favorite tool ever!!!

I like it but it causes a lot of static on my hair. I heard dryer sheets help so if I try the dryer sheets and it cures most of the static, I’m all for it!

I have one and I have the same hair texture as you do. lol You need to use it slower and smaller pieces of your hair in order for it to look very nice.

Hi, you wrapped the curls the wrong way and you were supposed to clamp all the way down and hold it, it does not tangle the hair! Also I think it gave your hair a nice bounce vs using a straightener which leaves the hair too flat

I bought InStyler 120 aud , and it totally doesnt work on my hair too, very bad..

Instyler es el mejor!!! Tanto para alaciarlo como para hacer rizos❤ es despacio y lo puedes pasar con la barra para adentro, claro con cuidado, y tambien con la barra hacia afuera... te deja el pelo pulido y con brillo.. si lo aprendes a manejar te encantara!

You are holding it wrong when trying to curl it.

Yo la tengo y la uso para mis rizos. No salgo sin ella. Tienes que dejarla más rato y dejarla rotar, cuando estés rizando. Yo no hago eso de enredar mi pelo en ella, sólo la paso de arriba a abajo y me risa, claro, con calma.

Yes everything time I watch your videos hun I weep for your hair cause you are not using any heat protectant on it and sweetie your hair is getting so fried damaged and yes I agree with the other ladies as with any hair straightener going slower always produces better results. I believe as well hun that you were trying to curl it wrong. That being said I do appreciate your channel and honest opinions. I got a Revlon all in one blow dryer brush based on your review of it and it has literally saved my life! So thank you for that 🙂. But sweetheart USE HEAT PROTECTANT IN YOUR HUNNY I can't stress that enough and I might even suggest deep conditioning treatments for you. Love your hair and protect it love. Much love ❤️

I bought an inStyler when they first came out. I took it out the closet last night and used it for the first time in like 10 years. Lol you are going too fast. When you curl you can use the brush.

I will tell you that you are using it incorrectly I know it feels weird to close it completely on the curl but you need to close it completely on the curl for it to curl correctly because it heats up on both ends if you do that it actually gives you amazing curls I’ve used it on myself and several other people and it is extremely nice I won’t use anything else but the InStyler to do curls although I do use straighteners and what not but if you noticed on the video you would curl it and then turn the curl in the opposite way once you took it off like you were wanting it to fail in order for the curl to stay curly you know that you need to control it and undo it in the same direction hold it until it cools off and then let the curl go throughout the entire video it sounded like you wanted it to fail from the get go I’d be a little less bias you may not of liked it and the beginning but you should definitely give everything the same opportunity

Girl, you need to go slow when you straighten. Even with a regular straightener. Also curling your hair like that will make ugly curls, you need to understand how to curl in the first place. Also the tool ain’t gonna make your hair healthy 😂 you also bought it at Marshall’s just sayin

U are not supposed to wind the hair around the barrel. 😂 U just grab it close to root, and let the hair wind itself. U need to understand how to use it, before making a video.

You’re curling wrong. And it doesn’t look “healthy” cuz your hair isn’t healthy, it’s fried & dried. Btw it made your wavy roots look better so u should use this now instead of your normal routine 💆🏽‍♀️
