Well, it is finally out, and finding plenty of gold already! The Minelab GPX6000 was a fun project to be involved in. I think on very small gold, the 6000 is maybe a little better than the GPZ7000.

Great machine Nenad. Probably the best feedback from a release since I can remember. Plenty of work up at Mt Crawford for you

Got my laptop on 40% volume, and the RU-vid video on about 60% and my voice is booming through my room! Have you tried headphones?

@@diggingwithphasetech thanks nenod most of the other are ok with out them a few are hard to hear .ive got a tower computer and its not as loud as my laptop .i particularly wanted to hear your views on the 6000 .i could hear your voice but couldent understand what you were saying

It will find gold as small as the SDC, but at better depth.

I already own a 5000 with several new tech coils and sizes. Is this 6000 make much different to spend the money on. I dont have alot of money to keep spending on new detectors. Thank you.

The 5000 with a flat wound coil is a very powerful combo. If the gold is of a solid or waterworn nature, then the 4500 and 5000 remain excellent performers. The faster MPF timings on the SDC2300 proved it will find certain types of gold that the GPX5000 can struggle on. So in some areas the 2300 wouldn't find much, but in others it would excel. Now, Geosense PI is a further improvement to MPF, so it going to get that "hard to see" gold at even better depth.

Which one is worth it if I buy? GPZ 7000 or GPX 6000?

Both are good. GPX6000 is slightly better on very small gold, and is also lighter. GPZ7000 is a little more adjustable in settings, and has better depth on lager targets.

Just been using the 7000 cover. Fits okay. Hopefully getting 6000 covers soon

Thanks for video. I need to say something GPX 5000 is an old series but steel in my opinion the best machine ever made by Minelab. I used it for coins and treasures nut for gold nugget and I think this machine is made it for. I just dont know in GPX 6000 there is not menu to set audio tone, stabilizer, motion mode, response and etc. How can I set GPX 6000 for treasure hunting I hope you answer me and also take a video about coin tests. Is this machine has iron reject option ? I think steel 5000 is in top!

If you need discrimination, then the 6000 isn't for you.

@@diggingwithphasetech I have VLF for discrimination, I just asked is this machine has iron reject by its DD coil like 5000 or not! I am using 5000 and there is steel time to test 6000 for treasure hunting.

There's no Iron Reject on the 6000. It is all-metal only.

Tough question. If I had to then yes. 6000 being the latest technology, I'd want to get that across as many old spots as I can. Then if the finds dry up, maybe get another 7. But I'm very happy to have both.

6000 is better for smaller gold, as well as reef gold.
