FYI...There is a setting under general settings called "Underwater Boost" for using headphones on the beach (noisy surf, wind and all). This will increase volume noticeably. It seemed as though you were having issues with volume in some of the audio themes. Perhaps this will help.
Thanks for all the testing videos, your saving me many hours,I should get mine next week..sea an surf seems 20% less power, like beach 1 an beach 2,on the Nox...
After 30 hrs with this machine (and new to Minelab) The machine works well. My only issue is with its pinpointing small items... and I mean small. It takes some getting use to and I'm still learning. As far as depth, it will go deep when ground conditions are perfect, but when used in mineralized ground, you have to bring down the sensitivity. I had no problem with salt water when used in the right program that adjusts for salt water.
Cool video, jealous of u being on Tybee, but anyway, I'M STILL NKT CONVINCED ITS THE BEST MACHINE, im probably still gonna go after it, I guarantee u the Equinox, Deus II or my X-terra pro would've struggled, keep up the good work
I'm enjoying watching you work through the settings! Gold is one tough metal to detect. I was swinging a couple of very fine gold plated chains in front of the Manticore M11 coil today. I had to rub the coil to get it to beep.
@@paulandresen8671 D2 has many options for you to pick from. Just in audio there are tons of options. Pitch tones are nice but not the deepest. Two tone or three tone program is deep. The deepest is full tones program for me. My deepest rings were 18 inches. Not to forget XP has a update coming too.
Around 9:00 you had an item on the ground and you had a hole close to it. Throw that item in the hole and see if the soil does not emanate the alloy better. I do not believe an alloy will give as good a signal on the ground as it does in the soil? That beach you are on does not have a lot of treasure as the south coast in Florida, or the beaches around California? Normally, you find religious treasure? Where does your religious treasure come from? 1.) Locally from those who migrated to that area by boat. 2.) From being brought there by currents? Whoever had that Melchizedek medallion had done extensive study on that! Many claim Melchizedek is a mystery. Jesus said he was Melchizedek. Some beaches are self-explanatory why there is gold, and 'treasure' there. Southern California you will see Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Excalilbur, and others. You are intelligent and can devote the time to master the configurability of the Manticore.
