It's funny, I've skipped pass the Goodal because of the tangerine so I really appreciate this review! I only recently found out what antioxidants do for you so I'm glad to hear of another product that contains them to try.

I am truly stunned that the Goodal serum ended up being my fave! 😂

good video. I just bought the numbuzin no.3 softening serum...because I heard it was so good and brightening. Hope I didn't make a mistake and should have bought the no. 5 instead.............fingers crossed I like it. I saw the Hince Eyeshadows. A beautiful palette of eyeshadows and single colors.

I hope you'll like the serum, it is very popular, so I assume others have had more success with the brightening effect!

I love the numbuzin serum it worked for me. Some serums may not work for others but as a melanin rich women this had got rid of my dark marks tremendously. I have tried everything and nothing worked. I also use the Remedy for dark spots by Dr. Shah at night other it got rid of sun spots, melasma and post acne marks. For me it was great. All skin is different so it may or may not work. If you do not have dark marks or melasma or post acne it will not work for you because it is not a brightening serum. The goodal one it great for brightening but not so much for dark spots and melasma in my opinion.

Thank you so much for the feedback, it's always great to get other opinions, especially when something didn't work for me personally! For me personally, the Goodal serum worked much better for my sun spots.

I really appreciate your reviews because you tend to review products that are not as hyped by US influencers. In addition, you try products for weeks before discussing your findings. I have not tried any of the serums you reviewed in this video. I have an order coming with the Numbuz:n #5 coming, however, because I have liked every one of their products I have tried so far. I had decided not to try the Goodal product because I thought it either it contains unstable ascorbic acid from the green tangerine or it will do just as much as niacinamide. My skin is quite pale, dry, mature and complicated by rosacea. It doesn’t tolerate pure ascorbic acid very well, despite my trying a number of products, so I use vitamin C derivatives. 😊I have half believed that some of Korean product’s high efficacy is because Korean woman have beautiful, firm skin which is less likely to show signs of aging because they religiously use sunscreen and care for their skin well throughout their lives.

I honestly think we have a slightly skewered view of Koreans' skin, because we mostly see idols and actors, who of course all go to skin clinics and do procedures. I've heard that Koreans struggle a lot with hyperpigmentation as they age and dryness, despite all that sunscreen and covering up. Good luck with the Numbuzin serum, I do really love the brand overall!

I think that I understand both sides who would promote the "100%" vitamin C over the derivate. However, I also think everyone should be entitled to choose whatever suits them best. Some people would choose retinal over retinol and even that in just a low percentage because their skin is too sensitive. So, as long as anyone is happy with whatever they choose I think it should be fine.😊

Oh totally, I'm not saying the people who prefer ascorbic acid are wrong, I'm just against dogmatic black and white thinking in the skincare community. Everyone should be allowed to enjoy what they enjoy!

I feel the Numbuzin serum is more of anti Ageing.. I had 2 lines on my forehead and they disappear in 3 weeks since I started using it

I just chanced upon this video looking for reviews on the Numbuzin, but now you've got me re-thinking... 😆 Haha still might give it a go for the other benefits, I'm so curious about it. Anyway, thought this was a nicely done review video, thank you!! The Goodal has 4% niacinamide I think, which might be a big help too in addition to the vit c and arbutin. But then again, I remember using a 70% sea buckthorn cream in the past that was pretty effective in brightening for me even though it was mostly based on the sea buckthorn extract and only a bit of niacinamide. I can totally believe the Goodal's tangerine extract is actually doing something too haha. Am wary of the EOs though... 😭 but so nice that it worked great for you!

You know, the Numbuzin might work super well for you! I just saw someone on TikTok rave about how it brightened their hyperpigmentation super well, so maybe I'm the odd one out. :D

@@ainakunigelyte Hi it was Purito's Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream! :) I tried the old formula though, not sure about the current formulation (but I think they only made minor adjustments like removing orange peel oil). It was a gel cream but a bit on the richer side, gave a nice glow :)

Very interesting video. Unfortunately i can't use pure vitamin C , my skin became red . Does any of those serum irritate your skin ;;;; i may try that innisfree serum
@UlrikeScherer

None of them irritated my skin, but the Goodall one is probably not the best one for sensitive skin. I'd say the Innisfree serum is your best bet, I find it very gentle!

I have really REALLY wanted to try the Goodal serum but I just know my skin will hate those EOs and fragrance. It's so unnecessary. I don't need my vitamin C to smell like citrus to work.

It doesn't even smell like citrus, just kind of "citrus-adjacent" 😆
