I’ve had the Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven for about a year now, and I still use it literally every single day! That and my Instant Pot are the main cooking appliances, with the stovetop/oven now only bring used about once a week. I think it saves energy!
Hey!!!! I’m throwing out my old gowise bc it was chipping everywhere but love air-frying and I’m headed to buy a new one that hasn’t got all the non stick stuff … do you know if the pan and basket are aluminum or steel or what ? Also how does it clean . I love saving my rendered beef fat and hate it sitting in that non stick stuff . Thanks for your help ❤️
beth cummings the rack is stainless, the drip pan is aluminum. I never set food on the drip pan. It isn’t non stick so you don’t have to worry about chemicals from that stuff being heated. When fat drips on it, it does get oxidized onto the tray over time, but it doesn’t interfere with the operation at all.
I have one! Slightly different model. I’m on my third one. Every 2 years the dial malfunctions. It’s also a PIA to clean but the instructions say it only needs minimal cleaning. I like it overall. Cuisinart never gives me any flak they send a new one no issues.
I should not be watching this on a fast day or while on a treadmill but I just let RU-vid play from what I was watching last night. 🤣 my mouth is literally watering.
I had one and couldn't deal with the cleaning of it. Switched to a Paula Dean one and love it! Cooks well and super easy to clean. Much less expensive too.
@@ShoeBoyReview Not sure of the model as I'm not home but it's the simple pull out basket one. I use foil or parchment paper and clean every few months by putting water and dawn dishwasing liquid in the basket and cook at 400 for a few mins, then pour out and wipe clean with paper towels. Mine is a beautiful red if that helps identify it.

i always thought these air fryers were just another kitchen gimmick, but i love my instant pot pressure cooker so much i decided to try their air fryer. it turns out i love it just as much as the pressure cooker. mine has a rotisserie function and makes amazing rotisserie chicken. the only downside is that it can only handle up to 4 lbs. i could eat the whole thing myself in one sitting
I have a small one/two person Cosori model and use it EVERY DAY! I make mainly "hardboiled" eggs, bacon and burgers (always perfect.) I got it before going carnivore to keep the kitchen cool and it makes cooking so much faster and cleaner.
Wonderful video, Bella ! - you truly inspire me to pick up this amazing regimen as soon as I can. (1) 'm looking for a new place to move to, and (2) I don't have anything to cook steak and loin chops with. At least now I know what I'm going to buy the moment I'm settled in to wherever I get, thanks to you !!!
I use the Ninja Foodi and defrost for 1 minute with the pressure cooker feature and then air fry. If it died today, I would buy another one in a heart beat. Love your channel.
I love my Air fryer-- it has several functions AND speedi meals-- I can finally COOK-and it turns out good. Before my Ninja- when I cooked BUZZARDS often circled the house!! :) Only thing that may not be so great--is the juice drops off into the bottom instead of being ON the meat as it would cooked in skillet...
I recently found you, fell in love, and now I'm catching up on all your videos! I recently bought the same airfryer but digital and it's great! I also love Led Zeppelin and love your T-shirt. Can you please share where it's from? ....and Happy Air Frying
Not only did I buy this same Air-Fryer yesterday at Target but I also have the same classic Led Zeppelin T-Shirt in black that I found at Target about a year ago.
I let the oven get up to temperature first using the highest setting, then I put thawed Ribeye in for 4-6 minutes/side, depending on thickness, to sear the outside as quick as possible and keep the juices inside and rare.
I use reverse sear oven method too but cook at about 220 for a longer period then I sear/rest. Best steaks I've had but I do want to get this air fryer to see if they're better. Also wanna cook hamburgers in it
I so love you Bella😘😘😘... i learn so much from you. But i never knew i could put frozen steak in the air fryer. Hmmm... thank you so much...that will save me time. 💪💪💪
Very entertaining video! I just ordered one of these cookers and am searching for recipes and tips and this was just what I was looking for. BTW, if I even tried to handle those steaks with your chopstick tongs, they would end up on the floor ;-( Thank you again and stay well.
Yours is different than mine-- I have the one cooking INSIDE a tub and closed up. I think I might get one of these-- because you get to put the juice that cooks and drips off-- and put it back on the meat-- I can't the tub won't come out without burning me... THANKS... I wanted to see one of these actually USED...
Are you still loving it?! Just bought this machine from target and I even got $100.00 gift card for buying it. Yay! I can’t wait to cook up some Alaskan wild Salmon in it! And some juicy ribeyes in it 😋
I put my frozen ribeye steaks in the microwave for one minute, then I put it in a frypan with a screen on top and cooked it for less time than it takes for you to do it in your air fryer because you do it eight minutes then you have to turn it over and do it another eight minutes.... 16 mins a hell of a long time to be cooking a steak. My oven and stove top cooks it in less time. Sidenote: the size of meat you cut off and put in your mouth is enough to choke to death.
Dang, I got the small one. Now I wish I'd gotten the bigger one with the time and presets. It does work great though. I've also got a Breville smart oven, thing is a close second to the Air Fryer.
Frozen ribeye is the best on the deli slicer, the best homemade philly cheesesteak! With real ho est to god cheesewiz! Dont forget the mandolin thin sauuteed sweet vidalia onions. And for the beginners, dont go crazy! Stick with salt and fresh ground pepper, you may use seasoned salt if you are feeling adventurous. But in my opinion the star of the show should the beef, and beef flavor is where it's at
I have that same air fryer and it cooks beautifully but it smokes my house :( We do use it for EVERYTHING!!! I'm still playing around with the rib-eyes because I like it med-rare but very very crunchy on the outside.
Is there any updates for Airfryers in 2024? I’m looking for one without nonstick. Either stainless or Ceramic… but with the high heat required for steak. Any ideas?
I realize this is a little older and I have not yet seen all your videos, though binge watching, but I am curious if you have tried sous vide. I love to cook my Ribeyes in a sous vide at 130°F for an hour or two, depending on when I want to eat as it's practically impossible to overcook in one. Then I'm fortunate that I have gas burners so I put them over high heat straight over the flame, for 2:30 per side. I like the almost crispy outside, which others may not want to do so long, with it being pink to red inside. Just wondering as a comparison.
I put a 1 inch frozen ribeye in an air fryer at 400º and even after 20 minutes it was still only 56º in the middle. I don't get how everyone is cooking frozen ribeyes in an air fryer. It definitely does not work the way everyone shows when I tried it.
I just got a toater air fryer and mine ended up tasting like it was cooked in a microwave. No crispy outside, overcooked too. Any tips? Should I pat dry or add beef tallow to help crisp it? I miss my stove top steak today but I don't miss the smoke and mess. Also, how long should I preheat? Thanks!
After watching this, I know I need one. But I want one like the one you have. You make it look so easy and then so delicious. Can you please tell me the model number, I see there's a few to choose from?
@@SteakandButterGal awesome!!! Thank you! Ordering one now! I saw other ones made of plastic and mon stick materials... I’m not happy about that so when I saw yours!!! Woohooo!
The cleaning of these "toaster ovens" is rather tedious though (kids took over and ended up using it for frozen pizza, fries and their (mini) muffins). I got myself an air fryer lid for my insta pot instead. Fits an entire chicken and easy to clean (stainless steel).
