I just started running your essence strategy and you change it (I bounced around a couple strategies and was bored cuz I couldn't do those too well)... XD hahah Honestly though, I like doing Alva... I got to make some corruption temples and sold well. And I even got extremely lucky by mistake. Instead of itemizing the temple, I opened it. And well, since it was open I ran it, had gem and double corrupt on it, so I was kind of bummed out to run it. BUT! A dude was spamming on chat cloak of flame corruptions and got me interested. I bought one, 10c, and went to corrupt... Little did I know I would get 200d on a 10c investment in a mistake temple run... XD +2 duration gem and +2 AOE gems... Upgraded all my gear and I got a lot stronger. Still got about 50d to play around. :)
in 3.15 i think it was,i was running lab for helmet enchant and forgot the prophecy,i was kinda mad and thought about quitting the run,but because i was already half way through,i said to myself "fck it" and run it. at the end a HH dropped out of the chest LOL literally normal lvl75 lab and out of the 2 chests a freaking hh. might not sound much with the current hh prices but oh well,it was at 155 exalts back then when exalt was 150c/exalt. another league i was mad bc i had to redo a ritual challenge bc it was bugged b4. so i had to run another few maps with it after ggg fixed it. even tho i absolutely hated ritual,i was quite happy after getting 2x2 doctors and a synth helmet that i sold for 80d :D sometimes you just get lucky :P grats btw :D
the "% more rare monsters" map mod rares do not get transformed to essences on my end, because i can see random rare mobs running around in my maps even with the calcification scarab.
How is the corrupted essences strat without crystal resonance, now that normal essences are super cheap the profit feels kinda meh compared to before where its was easy 10+div/hr even with my dogwater character even if it took a while to kill the final bosses.
It's an option. It's a bigger gamble than Crystal Resonance, since you're getting way fewer Essences per map due to them not being copied onto a map boss. You can hit big when you get a Corrupted Essence, but the average quantity of Essences will be lower.
I was pretty sad because 2 days after watching your first video and starting essences, they nerfed the Alva strat. Still been making about a div per map, sometimes a little more, with calcification, but i haven't tried the new one yet.
With mean you still get decent div after nerf with old Essence trait? Do it feel consistent? I mean you farm for few hour then sell Essence or some map you gain some map you lose?
@lnk111292 after the nerf I still get a div to a div and a half consistently. Sometimes I have a bad map and get about 80c worth of essence, but I've had a good map and got 2 div worth too.
The positive of the cheapo setup here is exactly that, it's cheap! It won't provide as many Essences per hour, but the profits are pretty comparable, and the price is right!
Essence farming has been extremely good to me as a new player. My build is about 200 div deep and I still generate loads of currency even after the nerf. (with old nerfed strat), so I think I'll be giving this one a try as well.
Essences don't get better with map level except for Amplified Essences, an atlas tree notable. Amplified Essences reaches max effectiveness in T6+, so going any further will only slow you down.
Beast is the best, its really good for 6 linking and jewels for adorned rerolling, I get so much money from essence + beast alone and I over sustain my maps even though I favorite jungle valley and strand and run only strands had times where the duplicated red beasts was also in essence but sometimes I die and brick the map because the red beast have so much essence
@@PauloVictor-tz9bg t6 is the most middle ground on best essence and difficulty for me atleast, beast is a byproduct of trying to juice up more essence and if you are not doing "red beasts have chance to replace yellow beast" then you can reliably sell yellow beasts to crafters in bulk.

Bit of a stretch, points-wise. You can use it, it adds a few rares, so it's better for Essences/hr in a Calcification setup, but maybe not better for total currency/hr if you are valuing Scarab drops (which you should!).
Einhar does not work with essences. This is the first thing that I tried this league. I think it actually reduces the amount of essence ? Even with the scarab that added 8 rares, I barely reached 20 essence monsters per map. Close to 15 without it. Not 30 like you seem to think. But I didn't know about the Alva tech. A shame. It would have doubled my profit. And calcification was 60c at the time. I didn't make any money. Probably lost more than I invested running essences. Unless your character is weak to the extreme, you will probably make more running t16 scoured maps with Destructive Play without scarabs. And even if you are super weak, you should be able to gear for scoured t16 on a 100c budget.
