Doesn't matter what improvements she got. If she cant stay in the air she's worthless. I don't use her as much no more which sucks because I use to have fun with her.
I have 700 hrs on her with 80% avg airtime. Now she plays 80% on the ground and has to fear falling off the map when she shouldn’t. Taking away her mid-air refueling is a bigger nerf than all the other buffs combined.
Not really, more of a playstyle shift if you’d ask me, if you fall off map you straight up just made a bad decision, Echo is my main flyer tho so for me these feel like nothing but buffs to me.

I play fast paced genji, because of movement and I like movement shooters like quake and titan fall, she feels amazing rn so I've been taking a break from genji and just absolutely using Phara rn
As a pharah and a roadhog main coming into OW2. They have killed my joy to play this game with their two reworks. This pharah rework feels disgusting on controller.
@@sideeswipe if you like being a sponge yeah. His one shot is erased and his hit box is the size of a UPS truck. I have 2k hours on hog and this is one of his worst version yet including OW1. (In my opinions)
@@sideeswipe Hog went from a 1 trick pony skillshot to a machine gun sponge. Once they're done ruining retail Overwatch let them do the WoW treatment and release Overwatch Classic without the hero bloatware.

I was thinking of getting back into this game, was a diamond pharah player but now I don’t want to anymore seeing how they cater toward bronze crybabies
I made the mistake of logging in today after not playing for a few months and realized they completely destroyed Pharah's entire playstyle. It felt absolutely disgusting trying to get used to not having the ability to hover/refuel. I don't give a fuck about some stupid horizontal lunge, if I want that I'll play Genji, why destroy the uniqueness of some of the OG heroes in this way. Only thing Pharah realistically needed was not taking self damage from rockets/Ulti. They hobbled her instead and plucked her feathers. Fucking disgusting. I guess it's gg no re Buying Helldivers 2 now and not coming back to this trash.
it is funny that the overwatch playersbase mechanical skill level was so low the devs thought a hitbox size increase was needed. They should give up on calling it a fps and just make it fully first person moba instead.😁
Ive not played for over a year and came in completely blind. I played Pharah for 400hrs and this rework has thrown all of that development out of the window. Even if I do work at practising the rework, the best verison of this isn't anywhere near old Pharah. Such a bizarre move for what had always been a niche pick.
I don't understand why they reworked her? She was dominant in the DPS line-up (very hard to come by) Now she is unplayable cause of the refuelling mechanic and a weird horizontal shunt which wasn't needed IMO
@@saultalamantes7736ah figured it out. I had secondary fire unbound bc it was a duplicate function on old pharah. On new pharah you need the secondary fire because that's the one that hovers lol
So many ppl complaining about the rework. They must realize that this is not Skybox bound pharah anymore. This is a diver Pharah's kit. You rely on cover much more, and in seizing opportunities to flank, fly in quick, get some kills, and get out. She now has a more proper toolkit for that with both the concussive blast and her dash
I haven't played overwatch much, just started playing again and my favorite is pharah by far. Her movement and damage is insane. Glad I didn't play her before this rework because she feels great to me
The rockets fire alittle faster and travel alittle quicker, they nerfed her knock back aoe by a tad but now it does 30 damage. She can’t refuel until she lands or uses her ult.
Well, in all honesty, they label this a rework but I doesn't feel like it's on the same scale as the other reworks like Roadhog and Sombra. She has a new horizontal "hop" in exchange for her fuel recharge and her rockets are significantly faster, but that wasn't a specific change to her but rather the whole game.
@@ergerg-su2jr She plays less like an orbital satellite and more like a Genji with rockets now, abuse that insane speed and blitz people from around corners, don't just spend the entire match with a Mercy staff shoved up your ass.
I disagree. It's only a nerf if you played skybox bound Pharah, which I could understand, but Diver Pharahs are having a field day with this rework. It all depends on your previous playstyle before the rework@@ergerg-su2jr
You didn't notice cuz you don't play her enough then. There are so many walls you could traverse by only hover jumping and having a quick refuel mechanic but now if you try that you get stuck and basically have to wait for your jump jet CD every time you want to move somewhere. The only way these changes could serve as a buff is if the Jet Dash also replenishes fuel like the Jump Jet does. Otherwise give back the passive refuel mid air.
@@Fuzzira I’ve been playing Pharah since 2016 I definitely play her enough also, it depends on your play style I manage my resources and cooldowns well so I rarely “run out” of fuel unexpectedly
