In this video, I test the new St. Croix Mojo Fishing Rods, wow are they impressive. The improvements from the old generation seem drastic and man they look good. Watch as I unbox the rod and take it out for a little fishing action. We were searching for sharks and cobia but ended up finding a few stud jack crevalle. Alot of people say they have defective mojo inshore rods that break easily but I beat the crap out of both my spinning and casting mojo inshore rods and they are amazing. If they were defective they'd be broken by now, maybe I lucked out and got a good batch but I love these rods

It’s a tidewater inshore re branded. I’ve fished em both side by side, and with a blindfold on you would never know the difference

What is the difference between this and the avid?? They are both sciii and the only difference as far as I can tell are the eyes and the handle. The handle on some of the models.

Guide train and the Avid is made in America where as the Mojo is made in Mexico.

It has been good but I am aware of the not so good reviews. I am not sure if that is due to product defect or user error.

@@saltwaterslayer4243 I have been really enjoying it and it has held up very well. Only down side so far is I cracked an eye somehow and to replace the eye it was about 4 times more expensive then a regular Fuji guide. But I used a Fuji guide and you can’t tell a difference.

@@thomasstanley501 Wow you responded quickly,Those are the type of reviews I’ve been seeing that the rod would break or the guides would break and fall out for some reason I want to get one but seeing all those bad reviews from a rod that is $160 and from St Croix isn’t good

@@thomasstanley501 I might bite the bullet or might get a stcroix triumph because I’m no millionaire and don’t want to buy a rod and in 2 or 3 weeks it just breaks also I’ve heard from lots of people that stcroix customer service is bad

@@saltwaterslayer4243 I have heard mixed stuff about there customer service. I can see it being crappy right now with this virus. But I have put way heavier lures and weight on my line then what my specific rod is rated for and haven’t broke it. Like I said only issue I have had is the cracked eye. My rod is a med fast and I have put an ounce since lure on it and even pulled in a couple snook with that lure and rod is still perfect.
