Thank you for sharing. I loved the video, her voice was a treat and the different locations were amazing. Is that graffiti recording? I like the sound quality of the Tascam but to be clear the SM7B was a much richer sounding recording.

Ah, I love that term: graffiti recording! Haha! And yeah, another thing is that the tascam has condenser mics as the built in mics, whereas the sm7b is a dynamic mic. So I'd expect the tascam to be a bit more high end focused and have a bit more detail (whether that's a good thing or not), just because of the type of mic. It would be interesting to compare it to other condensers, or other portable recorders with condenser mics, too.

2:21 Bird preset. Interesting. 4:32 With 32-bit recording, with its massive headroom, is it necessary to set the gain? What I thought was that it's not even possible to set it too high even, because you can't clip if you tried? Monse sounds good.

Yeah, you can still clip with 32-bit float! It's just a bit harder to clip. I'd still work to set that gain properly.

@@ASelfishIgnorantCitizen , acha, but she'll be expressing through a speaker box, why opera then , accha i get it, perhaps to make a show from the act for, singing needs be like commutation got a bus ride it, why pedestrian and sing be, do that much as much is like equivalent to getting up in the bus, rest machine will do , else it will create situation like indian economy, 4 / 100 people are rich and these rich ones are so rich that they can lifetime suffice the needs and wants of 96 people, and it will lead to poor indi but worlds top rich from 3-4 are just indians only out of 10 ✌😊✌
