Which one would you try?? Also I LOVED my purple hair!! It washed out after a month and a half, and since we're in lockdown I can't go out to get it done again any time soon! bit.ly/3pSGA0v use promo code ICING50 for 50% off your first order of Care/of!
I don't think she meant it as healthy so much as she should have said HEALTHIER, as in comparison to other desserts, it's healthier than the majority of desserts you find out there nowadays.
Hi, I just wanted to say that I am recovered from an eating disorder, but I sometimes still struggle. These videos and how excited you are about trying the food makes me want to eat. I thought I would tell you that and hopefully bring a little of the joy to you that you’ve brought to me!
Vanilla is becoming more expensive due to the fact that the plants are really hard to grow and the habitat that they grow in is slowly disappearing. Insider did a whole video on why it is becoming more expensive and rare.
The tortilla fold Intended to keep the food inside from getting soggy. First time I seen it was from a Mexican restaurant. Not on tiktok ( I don't have tiktok 😳 )
When we were children, my mother would cut the top off an apple and scoop out the core leaving most of the apple intact. The apples would stand up in a brownie pan, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar in the hole in the apple. Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until the apples look withered. Put an apple in a bowl, pour in some milk and eat that. (I use coconut milk and soy butter because I'm lactose intolerant.)
That final brownie cookie thing would be a good cookie for breastfeeding moms. Could even go a step further and change the flour to an oat flour and add a little brewers yeast.
Idea for your air fryer: Take Brussels sprouts and seasoning them with garlic salt and add olive oil put them in the air fryer and wait till they crisper and they’re brussels sprout chips!!! BEST THING EVER!!!
Yess! My family have been doing it for years, but in an oven, and it is amazing. We also do it to broccoli, it isn't a chip but the broccoli absorbs the oil and salt and it is really good.
I’m Nicole’s Mom. I’m excited you tried her recipes. She has many more healthy recipes on her channel- check them out . The apple crisp is one of my favorites. It’s so yummy. All air fryers are different , as far as temperature and cooking time : if the apples are not done in your Airfryer , just put them back in. Learning to cook and eat healthy is a journey and it takes practice to get the recipes right . I haven’t tried the chick pea one at my house . I know you need to wash them super good and also use good chocolate chips. I am guessing it won’t taste like cookie dough like you are used to , however it is a healthier alternative .
Vanilla is so expensive! I started making my own years ago. Just put some vanilla beans in a bottle of vodka and leave in cupboard for a few months. One bottle lasts me so long
@@Graciepoo.4576 mix together three parts glycerin and one part water, then pour it into a glass bottle. Cut three vanilla beans open lengthwise for every cup of glycerin you use. Add the beans to the glycerin, making sure they're completely submerged. The glycerin is vegetable glycerin and you can get it on Amazon.
When I make hummus I always take the time to take the skin off of every chick pea. It doesn't take too much time, and the smooth texture you get makes it all worth it! Still not sure it would make it cookie dough though! 😉 Loved rhis video! Totally trying the 1st one!
@@catharticmemefairy2088 vanilla beans and alcohol!! Seriously, get a bottle of somewhat cheap vodka or rum and about 5 or 10 vanilla beans. Cut the vanilla beans open and scrape the insides into the vodka and then add the opened beans to the bottle as well. Put the top back on the bottle and store in a cool, dry place for 2 to 3 months, shaking about once a week or so. Once the time is up, you have large quantities of vanilla extract. Also, don’t remove the beans or seeds. As time goes on the vanilla flavor will just continue to get stronger. I have a bottle that’s been around for years and it’s amazing. Best part is you can totally customize your vanilla with different varieties of vanilla bean and /or alcohol.
@@grapeape1994 Brandy works great too! As long as you keep topping it off, a lifetime of vanilla! You can make other extracts the same way too (for the most part)❤️❤️❤️❤️
We just made those folded tortillas last weekend! I had two with tomato, avocado, egg, and green onions and ate them with a Greek yogurt dip ... so good! But two were way too much for me... I was uncomfortable full afterward... xD xP I would not consider most of those recipes as "healthy", but everyone needs soul food too!
Quick tip:try using gram flour instead of raw/canned chick peas. It's made from chick peas but definitely smells better. I do find it a bit gritty though so I only use that ingredient for actual baked cookie as opposed to raw cookie dough. 💕
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! ♥️. Thank you for being amazing at making videos and entertaining us especially during these trying times 🙏🏼🌹. Please post more delicious Tiktok food hacks! We are in dire need during these freakin’ Pandemic! 🥺😃. I’ll be waiting impatiently for your future videos. Thank you once again from the bithom of my heart for giving us something uplifting and awesome to watch! 💕🌷
I was so excited when I saw you posted today!! You’re my favorite RU-vid personality, so positive and genuine and skilled 🥲 I started making cakes because of you, but they don’t...quite look like yours haha 😂
You need to try dessert hummus!!! It tastes like pudding and it is amazing. ALSO chickpeas are the most versatile food, you can make literally everything with them.
I’m glad you mentioned the cost of vanilla! as soon as you said you spilled a bunch I thought oh no that’s expensive Lol. Vanilla costs so much bc it can only be grown in a few specific areas and it has a really complicated pollination process so it’s like a WHOLE thing to produce it.
Wow! That exact thing happened to me with a Costco bottle of vanilla! 😂 Tip: A regular water bottle cap (not the super shallow kind) fit in place of the broken one 👍
@@dontbother267 Wheat flour is unhealthy, chocolate is unhealthy, sweetened peanut butter is unhealthy, and even unsweetened peanuts contain a lot of fat, as do the pecans, and bananas are literally the highest caloric fruits. Just because it isn't pure diabetes doesn't mean that it's pretty healthy, lol.
I’ve been making the choc choc cookie dough for yearssss 🤪 I wanted to try that tortilla for a while and you made it look super easy to make. New to your channel. Loving it ❤️
Hi Laurie ! I love your videos ! Thank you soooo much for the recommendation of care/of I used and really helped me ! Thank you ! I think I prefer the first hack ( with the dessert ) and really really wanna try !
The reason your cookie/brownie tasted bitter was mostly likely the baking soda wasn’t mixed in properly. I’ve had this experience using almond flour recipes. I now either mix the baking soda well in the almond flour first, or dissolve the baking powder in some of the liquid required before adding. Wa La...problem solved. 👍
I think it might be a lot easier to put the apple into the oven- everyone has one at home so you don't need an airfryer. Also it would be much softer and easier to eat. It's a common advent snack in Austria: cut out the stem of the apple an put in some nuts, cinamon, raisins, sugar or whatever you like and put it in foil and then in the oven.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your energy. It's definitely contagious. I don't use TikTok much so it was nice to see these hacks in action. But what I learned most from this video is that you should wear these deep jewel toned colors all the time. You look incredible with that deep raspberry color and dark-ish lip color (that's not to say that you don't look incredible in other videos though).
Dark chocolate and organic/natural peanut butter can be very healthy in moderation. Salted, sugared, oiled peanut butter and fake/milk/white chocolates are not healthy.
@@kaylawolfe927 I'm not sure if that's you're type! 😅 Tora_v4 is a Vocaloid producer and Lazy Laziness is.. Gacha. I don't like gacha but she's my friend.
I love your channel and enjoy watching what you do but I’m so confused as to how any of these recipes are healthy? The amount of sugar in the peanut butter and syrups used is so high.
Me: Checks if the icing artist has posted She didn't so waiting for someone to upload. One minute later: "Beep Beep" she literally posted one minute later after I checked.
I’ve been making chick pea cookie dough for YEARS!! And the past year or so I’ve been making Chick Pea Blondies... they got me through quarantine and I love them soo much!
