I think in the og recipe for the tomato and feta pasta, it calls for garlic and a few other things, not just the tomato and cheese so you def made a good call in adding other things into it

Tomatoes and feta should bake for 30 min, no blending just mix it up when done to keep chunky bits of Tomatoe, and add fresh Basil.. Basil makes big difference 😁

I think the noodle that u use for the spicy noodle are pad thai noodle which are use for stir fried and it is rice noodle. The other recipe she use Taiwanese noodle that are made of wheat which taste absorb the chili sauce a lot better without having to stir fried on the pan like the thai noodle
