I have those little cake levelers/slicers. And I use them almost everytime I bake. I usually use a turn table and turn the cake around while keeping the knife with the leveler steady. I hope this helps.

Aww you are too kind! Thank you ❤️🥰 Yes, caster sugar is finer than ghar wali cheeni which makes it easier to dissolve in the cake batter and it also makes the cake moist 🥰
The donuts maker is a plastic one so don't know but we have a steel one and from ages people use to make dahibada/sambar bada using that mould and it comes out perfectly in that consistency and of perfect shape which is again the same for donuts. Also it doesn't run there is just this pause for the dough to get settled down after each press and not just use it like a gun back to back.

Donut will not work i tried it in medu vada maker. Vada is perfect. Donut also came good in shape but with batter recipe taste bad. Donut is tasty only with dough recipe.
