I tried an Endo. Had to question his degree. I was at 246 ng/dl and said I was within range. Found a younger urologist with good training that understood. Put me on 200MG a week. 100 twice a week. Feeling great!

Thank you to all the doctors and bros. The entire panel was great! Anyway, the biggest myth I've discovered is going by the range (believing it as absolutely accurate) to decide when treatment should be given. For example, I began showing prominent symptoms at 425 ng/dl, but according to the medical charts I was in the "normal" range. I felt like the walking dead, yet doctors kept telling me I was normal. That normal range is utter nonsense. As a related fact, I remember growing up and looking at those height/weight charts and never fitting in anywhere. As someone 6'4 who worked out, for years I was considered overweight according to the chart. Later in life, they revised the range and make it specific to body type of small, medium, large, frame which brought me closer. Then subsequent added athletic type which got just about right. That time frame was about 30 years beginning from when I was a teenager. @1:48 Yes, you do cry. I'd wake up at 3:00 AM and cry for 15 minutes for no reason then fall back asleep. It was a terrifying experience when your emotions turn on and off like that.

140mg-200mg a week is the perfect dose of test per week. Stay hydrated and do cardio. Don’t get too big and your bloodwork will look decent.

I have a different take, when testosterone is adequate you are likely to act in an aggressive situation rather than back off. That's how a man is supposed to act, it's based on confidence. He who hesitates is lost. So is it rage or is it actually evaluating a situation and doing what needs to be done?

I’m 53, trt at 186 I just started 2.5 months ago from endocrinologist and started me at 100mg every 2 weeks and not feeling the best, i’m seriously considering going to a clinic but my insurance covers trt through my doctor, getting my labs in 2 weeks hopefully he’ll modify my dose, frustrating

Yes! There these doctors go again! They just can't get it together and stop going old school! That is absolutely a terrible way to go and wrong on so many levels! They need to start you at 100 split, like Mon and Thursday every week! Then after awhile increase your dose to where you feel good at ! Not what they want you at! I went through the same BS you are dealing with and had to go to a different urologist. Just my opinion, they should at least start you off at 120 mg weekly and test you from there. I felt terrible at 100mg weekly not bad at 150 weekly and felt incredible at 200mg weekly. My testosterone at 100mg weekly was only at 368! I was 53 when I started. Finally at 200 my testosterone is around 820 and it's a difference from night and day!

Love to see Balance My Hormones get a review paper made and get Dr Trivison, Bhasin, Morgentaler, all on a paper and right some wrongs. Until this is done and new standards are made nothing is going to change. Dr Travision already told me his paper and range is wrong so this needs to get fixed...
