Here in Greece the standard size for a surf casting rod is 3.90 m or 4.20 m and we're throwing em with 60-80 g weights for rods with 100-150 casting weight and for rods with 100-200 - 100-250 we use 80-100-120 and can send them like 200 with 250 foot away

Few das ago I tried casting a new 15 footer I got. It was a bit awkward feeling. Didn’t get a lot of practice that day, but I got a lot of laughs from the folks around me 😅
