TET Sweden '21 Highlights - Offroad & Wildcamping | Yamaha XT 660 Z Tenere

September 2021 I went solo to Sweden to ride part of the Swedish Trans Euro Trail (TET). This video is a compilation of the eight days I spent riding in this beautiful Scandinavian country. Separate vlogs are available in Dutch with English subtitles.
During this adventure I rode section 1a, 1b and 2. In 2022 I want to ride section 3 and 4, because now that I got the hang of it I will definitely come back!
During this adventure I used an Amok Draumr Hammock for the first time. A unique hammock that I will explain a bit more about in a future video.

Nice om te zien dat ondanks je niet veel actief bent op RU-vid, je nog steeds geniet van deze geweldige lifestyle. Je had er ook wel echt perfect weer bij in Zweden, mooi man. Een reis om nooit te vergeten als ik de beelden zo zie :)

Spot on opmerking. Ik ben de laatste tijd idd niet heel actief, maar ik ben nog net zo actief op de motor. Ik doe ook niet meer aan die stadsvlogs over koetjes en kalfjes. Wil gewoon mijn avonturen delen en anderen inspireren.

What a wonderful video my friend! Recognized most of it and even the dudes You met 👀😂. Looked that you are set up with a great ADV kit, any video on Your thoughts of the gear? It truly is something special with traveling lone in the woods and camp alone. Spec alone to the camera, camera becomes a friend to chat with... weird uh. what did You like the TET Sweden? Funny to see roads familiar roads right? I remember your TET South Sweden videos and also recognized some houses and lakeside roads from my trip. I will make a separate video about the ADV kit. Fun fact: I bought the Morakniv knife and the Black Diamond head lamp from watching your videos. Especially the head lamp saved me in the night. Can't recommend it enough. Riding Solo in Sweden in no punishment. Really enjoyed the freedom and sound of nature instead of the sound of talking heads. I must say your videos inspired me too undergo the trip alone, so never forget the impact a video can have ;)

Lichte regen. Overdags laatste dagen wel flink wat regen gehad. Moest daardoor ook eerder omkeren helaas.

Haven't found this channel before (???). It looked like you had a great late summer journey here in Sweden. It's still on my bucket list to do some parts of both the TET and the TST, we'll see what the future brings. I saw in a comment that you will try to do some more TET this year. Any plans on doing the norwegian part?

My channel is mainly in Dutch, but will contain some more English in the future. So you haven’t missed the boat yet 😃 I will be in Sweden next month to do part 3 of the TET up North and if I’m able to get the TST routes I will be doing them too going South. If they won’t accept my request for downloading the TST tracks I will be doing parts of the Norwegian TET instead.

Geweldig! Zou je zeggen dat een offroad motor echt belangrijk is in scandinavie? of zou je ook veel moois tegen kunnen komen als je op het asfalt blijft?

Als je op het asfalt blijft kun je ook gewoon met een Harley rijden :D Deze trip was echter offroad, dus moet je je motor daar wel op uitkiezen.

No it did not touch the glass with my particular setup. But that is dependent on which bark buster config you choose and which handlebar you have.

What's up friend, I have a Crf 450 fork with a 320 mm brake disc, the braking is bad, how did you set up your front brake? Or you also have braking problems, greetings from Chile 🇨🇱

Hey. I don’t own the Tenere anymore. But I bought the Tenere with a single disc and mounted a 320mm disc. Braking is never super, but it was ok.

Heerlijk. Van niemand last tijdens die coronawaanzin door te reizen op deze manier. Gedurfd wel offroad met zo’n zware uitrusting!

Nee Zweden heb je geen last van Corona gezeik en al helemaal niet in de bossen. Uitrusting was relatief licht. Ik pak alleen het noodzakelijke in. Lijkt alleen veel vanwege de grote, maar het gewicht viel reuze mee.
