Great review. Covers everything...pros & cons. You pretty much nailed it. Everyone reading this...answer this question: What is the #1 complaint you have about climbing sticks? Almost everyone answers "They're heavy and bulky". There are other problems too, but those are BY FAR the biggest complaints most hunters have about climbing sticks. So when you're trying to solve the biggest problem, and make the most ultralight and least bulky climbing stick that's ever been made, there will be some compromises. The One Sticks are a little bit on the loud side right out of the box. But then again...what sticks don't require you to use Stealth Strips? I've never owned a stick that didn't. There is a tiny bit less foot room on the steps, but it's a really tiny difference when you compare all sticks together. Again, great review. I feel like you nailed it. Keep putting out great content.

Thanks Greg I appreciate this. I reached out to you guys i was hoping to get an updated set of the pegs. I think that will solve 2 issues dead in the tracks. If you can get me a set before I do the comparison review of every stick I would love to highlight them.

Greg, i’m glad you guys are keeping an eye on peoples reviews of the ONE sticks. I love your company’s products and innovation. It shows you care what the customer thinks. Perfect example being you built a predator XL version because enough people wanted it. That being said what is stopping me from pulling the trigger on these is the smaller stand off spacing and no good moveable aider options that I have seen yet. Hopefully someone near me in St. Louis buys these and I get a chance to try them out and decided if the trade offs will work for me, or Tethrd comes out with different versions of the One stick. This year I am running 4 Hawk Heliums cut down to 17” with Tethrd Versa strap and a DIY one step moveable aider. It comes in at 8.8 lbs. the ONE stick is intriguing to me because I could cut that weight in half or better. Thanks keep up the good work.

So the pegs aren't an issue? How is the foot room not real? See half of what you say I completely understand. Like there's a tradeoff having a 1 pound stick. But don't flat out bullshit people that there is ample foot room when there flat out isnt.

@@G2Outdoors Greg I respect you and got nothing against you. I think you know that. But the foot room on that stick sucks balls. You can try discrediting me or my opinion all you want. Measuring a standoff laying flat on a table isn't a true measurement of distance against a radius. It also has to do with standoff angles. But I didn't pick at that bec there was nothing to pick at. I picked at that bec the foot room is terrible.

@@srtsaddlehunter3285 I didn't mean it like that. I thought your review was spot on. Tone doesn't always translate in online comments lol - certainly didn't mean to come across any other way.

Thanks for the honest review. Seems like many jump on the “this is the best”, when there are some compromises with the smaller foot room.

Thanks for the review. I've seen a few now. Without trying to be overly negative, I cannot really understand what is to love in excess of $100 per stick? The foot room seems to be less than desirable, and you've already got 2 broken pins? I cannot understand how these made it through production (though I do understand them to be in the trial phase I guess). Who wants to try to carefully put those sticks back in a stack in the dark? Who wants to add an end cap to quiet them down? Who wants to mod the ropes to make them stow away properly? I love that these gents are pushing the limits and I respect them highly - heck - they made saddle hunting a commercially viable thing (believe me - it was basically dead before they rejuvenated it). I would hope V2 or V3 of these make more sense. I know there are always tradeoffs, but is the perfect stick really that impossible? Thanks again for the review.

It seems everyone is getting closer to the perfect stick but its a hard compromise. What's perfect for you may not be perfect for me and so on

What did you use to cap to bottom abs top of the tubes? Just wondering sizes and where to get them for when they arrive.

You mention at 11:42.. These are awesome.. but... wish they were bigger, quieter, different rope, pins break, and noisy.. For $120 a stick they better not have that many flaws.. Thinking Tethrd better try harder to eliminate these issues. I'm actually glad you couldn't order them yet, now that all these reviews are popping up with the issues I'm glad I didn't spent my money one them. I see EWO sticks in my future. Thanks for helping me make my decision.

Why wouldn't they fix the stacking issue Before they put them onto the market???!!! That's what pisses me off about these companies! I'm a huge Tetherd fan, but alot their stuff is made in China!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
