Hey man - add a length of bungee cord on the top near the loops that connects them together. That way you have pressure pulling the loops together and makes it harder to accidentally come off. The bungee cord should be short enough that you have to stretch it a bit in order to loop over the step. Hopefully that makes sense. I've been using my custom ones for over a year and the bungee cord is absolutely necessary. Cool video!
Believe it or not Greg it actually has the bungee up top. Hard to see in the video and not the best video of course. Thanks for the support. I've been very critical of these sticks but I appreciate them more the more I use them.
@@srtsaddlehunter3285 awesome about the bungee. Makes it perfect. The sticks are expensive... But they were designed for one specific purpose = stupid light and stupid simple. I can't see myself ever using anything heavy again. The weight savings is a BIG deal.
It looks like the bottom Tethrd stick popped upwards up after his foot came off. Maybe the bite pulling away from the bark and the noise resonated through the hollow stick tube.
3 sticks are $330 plus a 4th at $120. That's $450 plus ship. I highly doubt they charge $80 for that. With any mobil stick your going to be up against how high you can get. You either need to add more sticks or remove some and add some sort of aider. I'm pushing 20ft with 4 sticks and a single aider on each stick on any setup. So that 5ft per stick...with a 2 step aider your looking at 6.5 ft per stick. Close to 8ft with a 3 step. Thats just how it works. Some will use 3 sticks and a 2 or 3 step aider...others will purchase 6 sticks and use no aider.
@@srtsaddlehunter3285 what ever works for you good luck. Not for me. It does what all other sticks do but a one lbs. 4 stick 1\2 lb more per. 2 lbs extra an a lot of money in my pocket.
@@srtsaddlehunter3285 for sure. I like wild edge. I use 10 with aider gets me 30 feet with a ring of steps less bulk. But not for everyone. Great video.
