Sorry sir! The style of buildings in Tetouan is wrongly called Spanish or Andalusian. He is purely Moroccan! it was Morocco that created Andalusia but not the other way around.
not even close, morocco only existed recently, the almohads and moravids had zero influence on iberia other than warfare, it was the andalusians that developed the culture

Tortilla that he was eating is Spanish too. The bocadillo he was eating before that is also Spanish. There are small Spanish influences but nothing major.

I m a Moroccan and i m an Arab, from berbers descent, sure, but an Arab , my language and my culture are arabic, speak please in all friendship, for yourself, not for the whole moroccan people who are 90 % Muslims and arabic speaking people . Thanks for respecting that . PS I have an enormous respect for the Amazigh culture , as the culture of my ancestors, but they decided to become arabs , and most of that, muslims , and we build a civilisation in southern of spain with the Arabic tool . @@franciscobernoussi5495 I think a lot of people in Morocco confuse Arabic and Darija. Speaking Darija doesn't make you Arab. There is a way big difference between the two. I'm pretty sure Darija speakers would have a hard time understanding Arabic if they didn't learn it in school.
Nice vid! Just so you know: don't talk about "berber presence" because Berbers (amazigh) have always lived in this place. They are the indigenous people from Morocco. Moroccan are arabized berbers. For example, Tetouan means "The eyes" in Amazigh language.
There’s no Arab dishes in Morocco bro. We don’t have much Arab influence at all in our foods. Also we do use many spices in our food, we just don’t use much chilli, that’s all. The tagines and harrira soup you ate are full of spices. You’ve seen our markets, they’re literally FULL of spices 🤣 so our spice culture is very big
Love Tetouan its one of the only cities which got really developed by the Spanish. And its just so quit unlike a lot of other Moroccan cities. My city of Chefchauen used to rule Tetouan for an large time and we were always linked to each other and our people's always visit and study at those cities.
