Tetra | Better than Tinker's Construct? (Full Showcase) 

Tetra is a breath of fresh air after playing with tinkers construct for so long. It really got its chance to carve out a niche for itself in the time before tinkers construct updated to post-1.12 versions, so it isnt falling into irrelevance. I cant see myself going back to tinkers construct, tbh.

Honestly, I’d kinda love a pack that uses both; you use Tetra tools, but instead of raw materials you need to use a Smeltery to make the parts first. That said, the major advantage Tinker’s has is sheer variety. So many more kinds of tool, and effects they can have on them. Would need intense balancing.

I prefer the simplicity and easy use of tinkers, but this definitely is a great mod that goes underused in modpacks

Imagine if this got special interactions with Spartan weaponry! Or even curious for some of the equipments!

I don't think this mod is simpler than Tinker's Construct, I think it's exactly the opposite - visibly much more complicated. And not only Tinker is simpler to understand, but it is also kinda more immersive with its smelting and stuff. So I'd still choose Tinker.

I think my ideal weapons mod would be something similar to Spartan Weaponry but with better traits and more balanced stats for the weapons so every one of them can be useful for different combat styles the players may have. Also give it a nice compat with tinkers and it would be dope

Tetra is great and have awesome tweaks, also have compatibility with few other mods due add-ons but one thing I miss in tetra... Armor changes, like modular armor that can fit nicely in medieval style ... If you can find and make video about armor with some kind of tiers or upgrades like in tetra i would be surprised. Only thing I found was topic of ideas how and what it would add to tetra if this mod could support armors. Nothing else ... Abnormals environment adds nice travelers armor but it's only one similar to leather with stats ...

Very good mod showcase I enjoyed it it was very interesting I enjoyed it I didn't see the whole thing because because I want to check everything out myself by to see the basics and I do appreciate you going over that also do you know there's some add-ons for the smart as well that accent with the under garden and there's one add-on that may compatible with the other mods I highly recommend you check it out I haven't seen anyone to showcase on it then yet it'll be nice to see both are for 1.16.5 I hope you like my suggestion keep up the good work have a good day stay safe and I'll see you soon God bless take care

For years whenever I've played Minecraft, I've only played modded. Tetra is the one I always wanted to try but leave the idea quickly because of the complexity. Lately I was playing Minecolonies modpack and there is also Tetra mod in them, I thought maybe I could start doing Tetra but again, it's damn too much, way too complex. I think I'll stick to usual diamond tools andenchant them for now. I was used Tinker's Construct many times before. The problem with that, Tinker's Construct doesn't give a lineer progression and once you spend your hours into checking the recipe book, you know exactly which parts you want to use and what do you need to max upgrade them. Then you skip 90 percent of the available materials. Tetra seems to give somewhat progression with hammer tiers which is required to craft better tools but every materials seems to have pros and cons and it's hard to follow, check and calculate each and every piece in that user interface, make a long list, create a roadmap and min-max your ultimate tool you want to craft. It's just too much. Tho, it's was a great video and very informative. Thank you.

this mod is super cool i absolutely love it, it is a good replacement for post 1.12 tinkers honestly as i have so many things to say on how bad post 1.12 tinkers is, so im glad to see another mod take that spotlight possibly, i just wish there was more variety in stuff to make and use, i also dont like how everything you need is located in a random structure

Make a overwork enchantment mod showcase like you did with the nether and the end in the past.

I tinkered with Tetra for a while. It's cool on it's own and fun to custom too. But when put in a mod pack it's hard to fully utilize. There're some companion mods that integrated ores and such from other mods. The problem is it needs a specific biome and structure to fully upgraded. Or I'm just dumb because I can't seem to find a workaround.

I really like how Tetra has better customization than TCon or Silent Gear, but tbh the gear feels kinda underpowered compared to those mods and also the mod feels very WIP Also the previously mentioned Silent Gear mod is pretty cool as well and is a very cool alternative to TCon. You can even add new materials easily

only reason i'm switching to Tetra is because Tinkers isn't compatible with Optifine and crashes all the time, and since i use Optifine a lot for shaders and FPS no way i'm leaving it out

I’m guessing you can still enchant weapons with this mod, like making modifications to a weapon from the tetra work bench, can that weapon still be enchanted or would we have to enchant that weapon first then modify it
