First part of the solo it was Tommy and the second part it was Chris. I love when they take turns on the solo in one song, they just complement each other so well. You should watch live version from Wacken 2019. They were celebrating 20 years of Sabaton so they invited their old members and performed on both stages at the same time. This song is amazing anyway, but when played by 2 drummers, 4 guitarists and a keyboardist it sounds spectacular (and of course Pär and Joakim)

That is awesome, what a great way to sort of pay tribute to everyone who’d gotten the band to that point.

Kind of surprised, I really thought you had done this already, otherwise I would have been frequently asking for it. This will always be a big favourite of mine. The pace in the solo is so captivating as Chris and Tommy shares it. Good and interesting reaction and comments as always

Tommy plays the first part and Chris the second part of the solo. So Chris takes over at around 10:26 in your video.

Chris goes nuts on that thing. That’s at least two I’ve heard that I know for sure are him that are incredible.

The Romans used to say "Deus, Patria, Familia", or "God, Motherland, Family". Until the mid 1920s the sense for the motherland was extremely high in all European countries. There is a book by the French Frederic Mitterand, nephew of the late president Mitterand. The title is "Les aigles foudroyes", about the fall of european empires with WW1; the title can be translated as "the eagles hit by lightning". In heraldry the eagle was an imperial symbol. I do not know if this book has been translated in english.

Are you from France? If so I have a question about how well known a sort of historical couple is there.

@@rayceofhistory I am Belgian and, before you ask, I am not directly related to the historian Henri Pirenne.

@@jean-francoispirenne6518 that is hilarious, I don’t think it would have clicked immediately, the last names, but eventually I probably would have asked. In your opinion, is history well known or broadly known in Europe?History is seen as a niche study in general here, with not many Americans being interested in it really at all, even US history. Is Europe that way in your opinion?

@@rayceofhistory Good day to you. I made the note about my homonym because I was once asked the question by an American immigration officer in New York airport, which surprised me as he is now considered an idiot in Belgium. At school, history is viewed as secundary and a course is given during two periods of 50 minutes per week, mainly focused on national history: imagine how little you learn in 60 hours per year during 12 years. In addition the program is fixed by the government (thus depending on the minister in charge), at present the cursus of history is being changed to be in line with the racialist and pluri-cultural trends. I was lucky enough to study latin and ancient greek (that was before the 1975 reform), evidently ancient history was included in these courses. Few students chose this branch in high school as there is little job opportunity other than teacher or employee in a museum: in general, people who love history have studied it by themselves and it goes together with another point of interest: heraldry, language roots, archeology, old stones (as says my wife), battlefields, admiration for a specific character. And you must like reading books.

@@jean-francoispirenne6518 wow I did not have the option to take anything like Latin until college, that’s awesome that it was, at least at one time, offered in grade school. History is forced here in grade school, so for instance for a 14-18 year old they take a 50 minute long history class every day. At least in my state they do. But those years are cut into different eras and areas of the world. So one year might be world history where a very baseline view of major civilizations and conflicts are given(you can imagine how much history is skipped in this class). Another is US history where it’s essentially 1776-present day of American history, and so on depending on what year they are in. But like I said, history is generally disliked here and seen as extremely boring, most friends of mine can’t believe my interest in it.

Hi, i recently discovered the channel "real time history" and would like to recommend it if you haven't come across it already. They did an interesting series on the franco prussian war and are currently doing napoleons invasion of russia though they focus on different aspects than epichistorytv did, for example their recent borodino video puts more of its focus on the decision making and what is causing the high casualties rather than going through specifically what is happening and when. They also did videos on other fronts of the campaign, like the siege of riga and the failure to catch bagrations second army in the early days of the war.
