this is one of the first football games i can remember watching, when i was very young. i thought the Texans and Patriots were rivals for some reason while watching it
I remember that the Texans could have had home field advantage through the playoffs that year. All they had to do was win one of their last two games against two of the worst teams that season and they ended up losing both.
The Monday night football game with the Patriots was their downfall. They got assaulted that night. Lol. I’ve always found it similar to the 2014 mnf matchup between the pats and the chiefs and the 2012 mnf between the Texans and the pats very similar. They even had nearly the exact same score. Only difference is the 2014 mnf made the Patriots better, for the Texans: it was the opposite,
Say what you what about Matt but he did has best and he was the best Texans QB of all time for now. But right now Matt was good with us. Sucks how he went down hill.
@@maddrone7814 bruh that texans team was arguably the best team in the nfl at the time they could’ve had a first round bye but they choked at the end of the season to clinch it you probably don’t remember cause you were prolly in elementary eating animal crackers
@@GoonXZeez the year before they were better but Schaub got hurt and they started Yates as a QB. This team got rolled by NE twice. They even wore letterman’s jackets towards that first NE game. This team lost Mario Williams to the Bills after 2011. But the Texans overall are a forgettable franchise, that’s what my comment was supposed to mean. But you had to go to the age argument lmao
Bro I’m glad I’m not the only one 😂😂 I remember our first playoff win vs Cincinnati and then the L vs the ravens in the divisional. But Ngl that 12-4 season playoff run is like all blacked out for some reason 😂 must’ve been a disappointment for me fr
I’m happy for them, that even after John Fox squandered their opportunities with Peyton Manning, they didn’t end up like the 49ers where they make it far lots of times and never win.
