"Don't mess with my Lou Reed leather look!" one of the most iconic hilarious lines of Chop Top dialogue to sadly be excised from the movie. Easily the most quotable character in the franchise.
I love Chop Top, he's the best part in the movie (Bill Moseley is amazing). My bf gifted me a cameo of Bill for my birthday and he sung happy birthday in his Chop Top voice and even scratched his head with a coat hanger
Now this is the best quality of this scene I’ve ever seen! i wish we could find the lost dream sequence with Dennis Hopper tripping in the hotel before stretch arrives at the hotel in the official movie
People misunderstand these “deleted scenes”. My dad was an actor and director back in the day and I understand why people think this is a “deleted scene” because it looks like the actors are acting. There are so many more scenes in most movies that never made it on a first video / beta release / original cinema releases. Most movies are also shown in festivals and I’m talking the full thing (even deleted). My point is these scenes were never intended for movie release. Perhaps tv ad or for test acting. Don’t be fooled this would never have been in the movie.
Wow im late but anyways, i think they should have kept them as tv ad or something. These scenes are actually really good. I would have loved to have seen them in good quality
Considering that it's an hour and 45 minutes and still manages to have such an absurdly low body count, I really dont get why this would be cut for pacing issues. Probably couldve made cuts elsewhere
Hooper didn't direct these scenes. They were behind schedule so he told an assistant and a 2nd unit crew to shoot them, but he didn't like how the assistant did them. That was the story in 1986, anyway. Tom Savini confirmed that Tobe didn't direct these scenes, though.
@@minji03 Yeah, it was much more watchable than on my blu ray. I just checked. Wish this scene would have been in the movie.. The effects looked a bit hokey, but I'm sure it would have looked better in post production, along with sound effects and music. Good job, man.
@@Stigmatix666 Hooper said at the time that he was so pressed and behind schedule that he gave this scene to an assistant to direct but Tobe hated how it came out. That's since been revised to "cut for pacing reasons", but Tom Savini confirmed that Tobe Hooper didn't direct these scenes.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_zB2MrOfz6k.html I redubbed the scene with my own voice and SFX, added "Crazy, Crazy Mama" to it, it was DEFINITELY meant for this scene.
