Richter is a whole character I didn't expect to side with. He went from wretched to adorable to heroic so fast and got wasted like it was nothing. Would much rather have seen him and final girl survive rather than Brillo pad hair weirdo sister

I didn’t care for Melody Dante Lila or Ruth. I found Melody and Dante to be self righteous snobs. Melody was smug arrogant and obnoxious. The only likable one was Richter, the Texan guy with guns. He was the only one with a moral compass. Plus he had some sense. The way that Melody and Dante treated Ginny before she died was unacceptable.

I loved how you poked holes in everything and showed the receipts for it!! This movie was entertaining but I'm so tired. I agree that there's no way Sally would've still been alive. I'm pretty sure he cut up all of her vital organs. There's just no way ...

The amount of times I screamed in this movie 😂 leatherface throwing weapons especially was COMEDY And I love the 2003 remake! One of few films that actually scared me as a child glad I’m not alone 😬😬

As much as I like the TCM movies, Leatherface didnt do it for me in this one. The Friday the 13th remake (with Jared Padalecki and Danielle Panabaker) will always take the cake when it comes to big men running around and murdering people. THAT Jason was horrifying in a way this Leatherface wasn't.

for this movie I put it this way. Its a slasher to the core. you go in for the killer and the kills. and honestly that was just so good, for me. the bonus of it tho is defiantly the cinematography. the after credits scene of him going home to the original house. it's sorta like Halloween in the way where I don't care much for Laurie or anyone else just Michael Myers.

Forget this movie... they did Sally's character wrong and disrespectful. The story was bland. The only thing I can give credit for is the kills and that's all it’s getting from me. Can season 2 of Chucky hurry up already... Now that's worth watching.

I'm glad that the director understands that Leatherface isn't a shark like slasher but more of a scared big boi But I would have changed something with Sally if I directed this. Instead of her being a Texas ranger, I'd have her character be in a mental hospital, and during the bus massacre scene, some guard is watching it and Sally can hear it from her room after the guard talks about it to his buddy and sees that it's coming from Harlow, so she escapes the hospital T2 style, steals a cowboy hat and a shotgun from a random guy's truck, and drives to Harlow while having a fun Laurie Vs Michael styled fight with Leatherface when he grabs her gun in that one scene, still keep her death though because she isn't Laurie Strode, but give her more screentime and a better fight.

One thing that keeps getting to me with the reactors I've watched react to this movie, is when Sally gets a chainsaw to the mid section and is still alive they are all "Are you serious, she's still alive, Na nah no way!". People have been sawed in half above the waist and still lived. It's not impossible.

spaghetti western town lol its hilldale 1885. Its so clearly a set. Also, I love how the sun is almost completely set as the sheriff leaves and yet the sun is still clearly shining through the windows later on.

Jessica Biel chainsaw Massacre is my favorite too!! And aside from playing the mother she was the crazy church lady in Silent Hill. If you haven't seen it you need to! and I agree Richter is fine. (So does Zzavid!)

Again, a masterful reaction. The Marsha Brady cut-aways were on point!! Also, thanks for the suggestion of the Jessica Beale TCM. I'll have to check it out. Incidentally, have you ever seen 'Bone Tomahawk'? So, I consider myself a well-seasoned gore fan, and, although I've never actually watched the movie, there's a very popular scene in the film that I DID watch because I was told about it. To this day, it's the only scene in a horror movie I can't go back and watch. I don't know if that interests you, but I'd love to see your reaction to it LOL...

I would love to see a movie where all the characters are logical and don't stall for personal reasons that later lead to their death. But that probably wouldn't be very entertaining.

The best part about the 2003 remake is Eric Balfour being in it. Otherwise the original version kicks ass 10x over any of the other entries.

This movie is bad... But I had a blast seeing dumb people getting killed brutally!! The gore was so fun!! GHOD THAT SOUND SICK... And also the house that Sally lives in was not the original house, I too got confused if that was the murder house from the original movie but the original house was seen on the post credits scene.

@@nicksaysboo17 when Sally came back fully into the movie was the turning point for me. The actress did fine with what she had, but this was where I thought the writing lost it. Her motives made no sense, people’s injuries stopped mattering, Leatherface was setting traps… just netflix’d it.

One of the only thing that really bothered me is the main female actor I feel like she was being wayyy too dramatic before any action even happened it felt like she was emotionally attached to the actors she didn’t even know idk her acting was weird for me 😭it felt overly done and she was just annoying to watch 😭am I the only one who feels this way??

The original 2003 then 2006 are the best Texas chainsaw massacres the newer slasher film's are trash other than scream vi which is amazing just like the original holloween then rob zombie's were amazing I liked the 2018 holloween but after that it went downhill.. they are ruining movie's that were scary. Even thou these are slasher films and not horror

This film was attempting to cash in on the success of the new halloween films, but it's main problem was the Sally in it is not played by the original actress making it just pointless. This film feels cheesy, but does have the first onscreen time Leatherface slaughters multiple people an actual massacre.
