I do hate to disappoint you Kirstie but this prequel is not really an origin story. That idea has been done to death and I feel that it ruins the mystique of the characters. What we did do is add a new layer with a different story set in that world. You have to imagine what other possibilities there are with a family like The Sawyers. What else could they be up to? It was definitely teased in this trailer but it’s very subtle.
