Tbh i never really even watched 3 and 4 but i do remember them not being liked when they were new. At least 4 wasn't for sure. But hey, lots of things panned at release find their appreciation later. As for the story already being concluded, yeah. That's something a lot of more casual folks that are just excited to be reminded of their childhood aren't thinking about sadly lol. If they can make it work in the movie though, time will tell
My local cinema is a long way from the typical standard multiplex. It is in the next small town, five miles away and looks like a Scout hut from the outside. Inside, it is far larger than you would imagine and has three screens. Only seven quid for a ticket and you can buy a drink at the bar and take it in with you.

Well, my friends & myself are looking forward to your return to RU-vid…My friends say they’ve really been missing that great “Reading Material” from you…The running gag is that they always say they “Read” the Videos of “Hearing” people, as they watch with “CC” which involves “Reading”…One of the most disturbing “October” movies I’ve ever seen is called “Terrifier,” featuring a villain named “Art The Clown”…I’m curious 1.) Whether you’ve ever heard of “Terrifier” and 2.) What your thoughts are on that particularly-intense Horror film…I have heard there’s also a sequel out, too…While Horror certainly isn’t by any means a Genre of films I know very much about, I’m aware that you know Horror a lot better than I ever will: hence my reason for asking you of your thoughts on the “Terrifier” franchise… . There’s a huge reason why I’m so extra fond of my friends who 100% can’t hear…In addition to being 100% deaf, my friends have also 100% got got my back, no Questions asked…For Example: In Late-April, an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s knocked on my door seeking a ride to the grocery store, but I broke my right ankle whilst on my way to the door, per walking while my leg was still asleep…I had to spend 2 Months on Crutches & also couldn’t drive for the whole duration…It was honestly a freak accident & I’d certainly never blame the old lady for what happened…But a neighbor in my Apartment Building spread a big lie that I was accusing the old lady of having slammed the door into my right foot (breaking my ankle)…In truth, I didn’t even make it to the door…My deaf friends know the truth and haven’t been falling for any of those lies that have been circulating around about me…But, alas, I’m sure you’re aware of how easily some people can be brainwashed…That Said: You can probably imagine all those horrible names people have been calling me out in the hallways of my Apartment Building as I’m minding my own business simply trying to get from Point-A to Point-B (whilst hobbling along on those Crutches)…The neighbor has also said horrendously-disrespectful things about my mother too, even being so bold as to utter those derogatory remarks directly to my face…When I told the neighbor I was starving from my inability to shop for groceries, he accused me of being “Juvenile” for trying to “Guilt” him, saying it isn’t his responsibility to take care of me, to which I replied that if I learned that he hurt his foot I would’ve taken him shopping…And, to top it all off, I wasn’t really able to leave my Apartment for 5 Weeks or so (because of the injury to my right ankle), which was when the neighbor went all around slandering my name (at a point in time when I was unable to defend myself!)…Plus, just as my injury & pain was at its peak (Mid-May), I learned that a favorite RU-vidr of mine had passed away last September…You knew this RU-vidr…but out of respect for the deceased person (and her grieving family), I’m gonna conceal her name…Hint: This was a RU-vidr you knew Offline… . I’m curious as to exactly how willing you’d be to Upload Movie Reviews onto your Instagram (if not your RU-vid Channel)…Some ideas of Movies you could Review include “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” as well as any Horror Movie I’m not naming, plus “CODA” (starring an all 100% deaf cast), a Movie Review Request/Suggestion from my friends…You can probably deduce that my friends & I all miss watching you on RU-vid…Yes, Kirstie, Technology is, indeed, continuing to evolve, as evidenced by a brand new (deaf) Accessibility Technology that will likely arrive over the next decade or so…For society’s most financially affluent, as well as for those “Lucky Few” (who possess “Powerful Connections” that the “Average Person” lacks), there’s an “Experimental Technology” presently in development called “Closed-Captioning Glasses” (“Subtitling Glasses,” if you’re European)…As the name entails, it would be possible for someone (let’s say, in this example, a deaf or Hard-Of-Hearing person) to gain access to live, real-time Closed-Captioning by simply putting on a pair of glasses…Now, I’ve mentioned “Financial Affluence” to you earlier, be that a single pair of these “Closed-Captioning Glasses” could easily cost somebody hundreds of dollars, even approaching 4-figure values (per pair!)…Additionally, “Connections” of which “Common Folk” (such as myself or my friends) are obviously lacking in would be a plus, as these glasses still haven’t gone totally “Mainstream” yet, as this Technology has only recently made it past the “Prototype” Phase and, thus, might take an additional 5-To-10 years before becoming more readily available to the “Masses”…For all those aforementioned reasons, it’s likely gonna be several more years before my (deaf) friends will be able to start wearing those special glasses…In the meantime, they’ll simply need to continue using “Ava” & Google’s “Live Transcribe” via their Cell Phones to get their live, real-time Closed-Captioning…Nonetheless, it’s always fun to reflect on what types of new Technologies might begin to become available (over the next decade or so) to help make life a bit more manageable for people who are living with various disabilities & challenges… . Interestingly, there are times when even we “Hearing” people will also rely on Closed-Captioning & Subtitles to watch certain Video clips…Some Such Examples: Suppose you’re watching Videos on Mute whilst at a (noisy) public place or are trying to watch a Foreign-Language film…Another Example: Suppose I’m watching a Video where all the communicating is done in Sign Language…In such situations, I myself will become equally as dependent on the Closed-Captioning as my friends are as they watch “Hearing” people in Videos…Per my not knowing any Sign Language, I’ll require Closed-Captioning to watch the Video, even though my sense of hearing is fully-intact…Fun-Fact: There’s such a thing that’s universally recognized (across several Nations) as “Deaf Culture,” which revolves around acceptance & embracing of the inability to hear (either well or at all), as opposed to being ashamed of their limitations…Being a person who, all my life, could always hear decently, I’m somewhat uneducated as to exactly what “Deaf Culture” is & what it’s all about…Between 2011-2017, there was a popular TV Show here in the US called “Switched At Birth” (originally distributed by the US TV Network, ABC) which was widely-acclaimed as being one of the very first shows on “Mainstream Television” here in America to vigorously illustrate “Deaf Culture” via heavy casual displays of deaf people & ASL (American Sign Language) throughout the show’s run…A character (named “Daphne”) is deaf & struggles to “Lipread” (or, for those of you who are either British or Scottish, “Read Lip Patterns”), and she’s periodically seen informing “Hearing” people about how exhausting she finds always having to read lips all the time…While I admit to viewing deafness as an unfortunate thing, I’ve noticed (through observing my friends) that people who are deaf will usually learn to embrace their deafness (and, thus, not feel sorry for themselves for being deaf), which is something I confess I’ve never yet done, as I’m “Hearing” and have always had a decently-intact sense of hearing…That Said: I suppose that’s why I don’t quite “Get It” (but maybe one day I’ll develop a better understanding, in spite of being “Hearing”)…
Thanks I appreciate that! I’m a huge fan of the Terrifier films, and the intense gore/torture gore/torture porn (whatever title you prefer, people use them all interchangeably) Horror sub-genre. While I prefer the first film I enjoyed the sequel and can’t wait for the 3rd to release in October!! I just read your story on another comment and replied so I won’t repeat myself here. I’m definitely open to film reviews in both long and short form content. It depends on the films and if they welcome a deep dive or a quick discussion. But yes I’d love to upload about the films I think have interesting points to bring up. Mostly though I’d like to focus on thematic videos that don’t have the pressure of release dates/reactive content. That style doesn’t fit with my lifestyle and would be more stress for less enjoyment. I’m definitely working on keeping content accessible and will use whatever features social platforms have available to help with that
