Amtrak's business car, "Beech Grove", brings up the markers on the southbound Texas Eagle, train 21, as it rounds the 60mph curve through downtown Lemont, IL, 25 miles into its journey from Chicago. Though the max speed on CN's Joliet Subdivision is only 79mph, perhaps the executives were looking to experience the new 100+mph running further south on Union Pacific's Joliet and Springfield Subdivisions on the run to St. Louis.
