Thanks for uploading this! I just saw someone mention Tommy Katona in a youtube comment and my search led me here. My jaw dropped when he started to sing and sounded like Stevie. Just crazy.
Tommy is to Stevie as Randy Hanson is to Jimi Hendrix !!!! Both brilliant guitarist keeping flame for two of my all time favorite players going so younger generations can appreciate and learn from both of their life’s work. Amazing player !
Pride and Joy gave me the chills...I literally imagined it was Stevie playing...and all what could've been if he did not get in that heli that night after Alpine Valley. Thank you Tommy for those few minutes...just made my imagination flow!

Life by the drop was the only one I came for and damn. I couldn’t tell the difference between you and stevies voice. All you gotta do now is channel all your rage into them strangs and son you’ll be a carbon copy, play angrier.
I feel extremely lucky to get to see these guys on a regular basis( once or twice a month if I wanted) less than a mile from my house. Why not the whole tightrope?

Philip sayce is a complete beast in his own way. Tommy is honestly one of the closest players to play note for note what stevie would. Stevie's playing lives inside this man and his voice is pure stevie. Philip is one of my idols and favorite players but when it comes to stevie tommy is definitely the man.

Phil doesn't have an SRV voice but he sure has a damn good voice.....Just as good as SRV just tonally different...... And If your an SRV fan it's not about lick for lick because SRV never played it the same twice. Btw when it comes to feel, raw energy and explosiveness. Philip checks those boxes big time... like no one else. This guy tommy could never match Sayce energy and playability.....
