Hey🙂👋 Temperature wise, not much. Maybe 5/10f degress on a 100f+ middle of the day trip. Otherwise about the same. The main benefit is more longevity by keeping coolant temp the same across all cylinders. Similar to the 1990s gm gas v8 design where at the rear of both cylinder heads, a lack of flow can cause a localized boil. Back then we would tap the intake manifold at the rear coolant passage and use copper fittings to rubber hose for flow to the front. Hope that helps in some way👍🙂
Why would one think their HMMWV would need aftermarket cooling gizmos added? Properly maintained the way it was designed, built & tested will provide more than ample cooling civilian use requirements of the vehicle.
Most likely something was done to restrict cooling ability; installed a pioneer tool kit right over the top grill of the hood, etc., etc.@@sadiesometimes1141
The Military contracted electric fans for HMMWV during operation Iraqi freedom. I was there and we had to wait for manufacturing to catch up to demand. You know not of what you speak. But thank you for your engagement.
Contracted??? You mean some units went outside the normal approved components and "Hot Rod'ed" their HMMWVs?😄 The USMC is very well known for doing such silly things and then complaining to TACOM that their HMMWVs are not performing up to THEIR expectations!!! FWIW: I have been out in the field on many, many "wild goose chases" with TACOM Reps investigating those "self-inflected" HMMWV occurrences! @@sadiesometimes1141

I don't have the energy to keyboard battle with you. Modify your HMMWV as you see fit. Flexalite was contracted by military. If whom in military contracted them is of importance to you, OK🙂 All the best to you and yours.
