Honestly, it's been a slow decline since Kathleen Zuelch left (and burned bridges on the voice cast). It got amputated when Monty... you know. It went on life support after the personnel revelations + Gray skimming the budget and overworking animation. Not to mention the whole thing with Nomad of Nowhere. I was hoping we would pull the plug after S10 of RWBY and after RvB S20. *sigh* it really did peak with Lazer Team, did it?

I hadn't kept up with their content for a very long time because I just had other things going on and other places that happened to fill that void, but I'd check in every now and then and enjoy some of their content Obviously though it'd been too long since my last visit because they went from being a really entertaining let's play channel that somehow made shows that looked as good as anything a network could put out and were usually pretty funny, to being a lifeless corporate College Humor or Buzzfeed clone, it's really such a shame - I know that things need to change, adapt and grow as they and their audience grow and change, but this is just lifeless algorithm bait and it shows Pour one out for the OG RT that we all grew up with, RvB, Fails of the Weak, Achievement Hunter, etc. I hope the people that started it all and actually gave it soul are doing okay 🍻

Rooster teeth has been soulless for years. Run by and owned by people who don’t care. Anyone that did care probably couldn’t do much if anything to save rooster teeth. Probably why a lot of people left. Not to mention the internal and obvious external problems they never recovered from.

I don’t think them essentially saying “racism is bad” had much to with their downfall. If you think that had a greater impact than one of their co-founders publicly wishing one of his co-workers had a break in, most of their original team leaving, or the director of their most successful show dying, all I can say is you’re not very bright
