This team gave me one of the greatest 3-4 week stretches I've ever had in my life. It was an absolute joy to watch them this entire postseason, and it's something I'll never forget. I only wish I could bottle this up and keep it forever.
Very few fan bases can understand. I think one reason a lot of Cards fans are happy for Texas is, we’ll… they’re also Blues fans and we know about their history of failure. Nothing compares to that first win. Congrats!

Once Game 5 was in the 9th after Semien sealed it with the 2-run bomb, all I could remember in my head was the infamous missed fly out by Cruz in 2011, that essentially cost TX the World Series that year. Then, the words every Rangers fan waited an eternity to hear a half inning later: "In their 63rd season...IT'S HAPPENED! THE TEXAS RANGERS WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!"
As a Cards fan, this was my feel-good story for baseball for 2023. A team that had been fighting for 12 years to exorcise the "Heartbreak of 2011" demons, got a quality postseason run going, shut an obnoxiously annoying cocky-ass Astros fanbase down, and went on to absolutely DOMINATE a young but talented D-backs team to FINALLY win it all. I'm 30, been a diehard fan my whole life. My dad went to the very 1st home game when the Rangers moved to Texas when he was 19. This still doesn't feel real. I'm never gonna get over this team and this playoff run. We're really World Series champs.
Jacob knew this team was special from the jump. He knew they had something potentially. He I believe knew they were gonna win it the moment they bought him in. So proud of this Rangers squad. DFW now has championships in all their major pro teams.

First time I've watched the Freese/Cruz clip since we won it last week. It still made me cry, as always, but they were different tears this time, cuz I knew that finally there was a happy ending to this story. Thank you for the video. Go Rangers!

Wow. I thought it was just a dream. But it was a dream come true. I was in shock and it took me a few days to realize it was real. God Bless Bruce Bochy for coming to Texas to manage the Rangers. Rangers literally went on a run and gave every team that plagued them a big Fat Middle Finger. It started when they swept the Blue Jays. Then once in the post season Rays got swept. A big FU to the Orioles sweep your ass too. Then good bye Houston. How sweet it is.
As an Astros fan and someone who hates the Rangers, I have to give them credit. They played their hearts out this season and only lost the division on the last day of the season. In my eyes, the baseball gods were looking down at the Rangers as the Astros sucked cheeks at home and beat them all four games they played in MMP. See you guys next season for 2 100+ win teams in the AL west again.
